The idea is great. The execution needs work.
This fits easily over the door and accommodates the ironing board; but the iron caddy is too small for one of my irons and accommodates another only if the iron is placed in it upside-down. It's the caddy is also not all that easy to reach if you're a bit short. The hanger I received was missing a vinyl hook cover. Again, the idea is good—but be sure to measure your iron.

Metal on metal, needs rubber coating.
The mount is fairly sturdy. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the following: 1) Although they can be drilled, 2 more holes toward the curve of the mount will allow for a more secure installation. 2) the metal hangers, specifically when using a Y-shaped ironing board, aren't covered with any rubber so it's metal bracket on metal ironing board frame. Coating the brackets in rubber would eliminate this scratching and lead to a tighter hold. 3) the rubber tips fall off easily and are useless and only cover the end of hanger. They serve no purpose other than that.I will say that that the mount does mount pretty close to the wall and allows me to close my laundry room door all the way.

Love, but have to hang iron upside down
This is a great way to store my iron and ironing board - a couple of things: 1 - I initially put it on the back of the guest room door, but we use the door too often, so the board would pull out a little, making it difficult to open the door up all of the way. Solution - moved it to the backside of our hall closet door, which doesn't get opened frequently, and when it does, it doesn't push back against a wall. 2 - The iron I have is too thick to hang upright, so I have to hang it upside down. Could be problematic if you have water in there for the steamer. I don't iron very much, so not a big deal for me, but if you iron a lot and use the steamer you may have some leaks, depending on if the place that stores the water is capped or not. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.

Perfect for the Job
It’s compact enough to fit behind the door. It comes with two small screws. It may have worked, but we swapped them out and used anchors. It seems sturdy now, we’re happy with the purchase.

Best one out there!
This is the 4th one I tried. It fits my iron perfectly and holds the board stable. Doesn’t swing around when the door is opened! A definite keeper!

Works Great For Me
The Spectrum 66330 works great for me but it is for a smaller sized iron. Keep that in mind when purchasing this. It also maybe a little tight at the top of your door according how much space there is there, or paint between the door and the door frame. Mine was tight at the top when I first put it up it has become smoother from opening and closing the door and wearing some of the paint at the top down. That's fine for me, cause as you can tell from the picture I posted, there are holes in the door that came from a iron and ironing board holder that just kept coming out of the door. This one works great!

Form follows function
I wanted a simple holding rack for my ironing board and wasn't looking for one of those useless things that are supposed to hold your iron too, but never work. This is it! Cheap, infinitely sturdy, easy to install and completely unobtrusive. Form follows function and less is more! Be sure it is mounted to wood studs or a secure hard board base.Mount to drywall at your own risk; I would never do it. (Reference the morons who try to mount a flat-screen TV bracket to drywall? The failed pictures, with wrecked TV's are all over the reviews on Amazon) But then, I would never mount any type of sturdy bracket to drywall. It will eventually fail. This bracket is designed for 'T' style ironing board legs. It probably wouldn't work well with a 'Y' style leg.

Great!
I needed to hang my ironing board and get it out of the way. After looking at several, I decided on this one as I did not want to spend a lot of money just to hang it up. Once I received it, I was a little unsure if it could hold the weight of my Rowenta ironing board as it is pretty heavy. I wanted to mount it on my bedroom door and it was all pretty easy. The supplied screws worked just fine and it is currently hanging without issue. Great!
