Foam Decorative Ceiling Tile - Astana 50cm x 50cm (~20"x20")

Wow! These are great. They are as light as a feather and somewhat thin. It's only Styrofoam so must be careful when installing so you don't dent them. We used liquid nails and transformed our weirdly texture, 50 year old bathroom ceiling. Oh yeah, these went right over textured ceiling with no problem. Just make sure to compensate for the uneven surface with extra liquid nails.

The person that made the Styrofoam cup reference is correct. When I received the tile, in the huge Amazon box, I was excited to open it. I ordered one, for $3, just to make sure I wanted to use them for my room. I don't want to use this Styrofoam cup for my room. Utterly horrible.

We used these to cover a super ugly old drop ceiling. Our old ceiling was in no way a flat, even surface, so we were worried about trying to stick tiles over it - but these tiles are super bendy!We used a Victorinox serrated knife to cut them (super easy) and Loctite PowerGrab Express as adhesive. I think we used about one tube per four or five tiles. This ceiling was so easy to install!Then we sealed the edges with DAP Alex caulk, and smeared a little extra caulk on the tiles to distress them/makes them less uniform (using nitrile gloves).Priming and painting was the only part that wasn't a breeze... but now it's done and it looks awesome!I would absolutely use these tiles again!Oh, and if you find a tile isnt sticking properly and starts sagging (happened on one tile, probably because I repositioned it too many times), it's super easy to cut a little opening in the tile, squeeze in more adhesive, and push the tile back into position.Very happy with this product!

We used lock tight adhesive. We could not believe how easy these were to apply. I had serious doubts when they arrived. They look thin and flimsy and I was afraid it was going to look like a disposable plate on our ceiling. Hubby and I installed these in about two hours! Everyone who sees this ceiling is stunned when we tell them it's foam. We painted them ceiling white, and they look amazing. We plan on using these in our cabin as well.A few notes: ran out of lock tight and tried another adhesive, it didn't work. You must use something that dries quickly.These are actually about 19 1/2" x 19 1/2" so measure accordingly.

Shipped quickly, and packaged well so it would not arrive damaged. However they are incredibly thin and flimsy. Can’t use it for my project. Design is pretty, but it’s very soft styrofoam where the design can dent and break easily. Wanted to return, but I have to pay shipping, so it wouldn’t be worth it since I only bought 3.
