Absolutely perfect!
I read the reviews on both the road master and the radio flyer wagons available here on Amazon. Both had pros and cons and seemed to be pretty similar in many ways. I went with the road master wagon and have been very pleased with it. The assembly was easy. There were no toxic smells as some of the reviews claimed. The quality and build is good. I’m not a fan of the plastic handle, but there isn’t anything wrong with it. My toddler plays with it all the time. It’s great for walks, playing in the yard, hauling dirt, rocks, toys, groceries, wood, etc. We even fill it with water for sensory play. Overall great purchase!

I made Santa look bad this year.
I am a grandmother, raising a grandson in a vastly changed world since even my kids were growing up. Everything is high tech, computerized or geared to keeping a child still. I understand- sitting still and learning is a good thing. It is also a very hard thing for a child with ADHD.Kids are too sedentary nowadays anyways. He had a bike. Not crazy about skates just yet so I was really wasting brain cells trying to find something that would make us both happy. That's when I began to think back to my own childhood and the things that made me happiest. My parents weren't rich, times were hard but I do remember the year myself and three of my cousins got that red, metal, wagon. We played with that thing until the wheels fell off and of I not mistaken those wheels got fixed a few times.Such good times are associated with little red wagons that I could not wait to give those same memories and activities to my grandson. All that being said: it was irritating as heck to put together. One might want to tell somebody that you have a part that needs greased. Also explain that those lock nuts or whatever they are called to hold the wheels in place will move, one one hundredth of a second before you swing the hammer, resulting in a bruised finger and not just a few swear words. All in all tho- this is a purchase I will never regret.Thank you.

Just one problem
My good utility/garden wagon was stolen a couple of weeks ago and they now cost $100.00. I no longer need a heavy duty one so I bought this for the light gardening work that is left after 10 years of heavy duty work. I wasn't expecting much from this $60.00 wagon but was pleasantly surprised by the gauge of steel and the overall design. The reason I cut my review down to 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is one problem which created a headache and ended up requiring two hours to assemble. Amongst the bolts is one that is twice as large as all the others. It is a 3/8th bolt with special threads and constitutes the pivot point for the front wheel assembly. It has a special rectangular nut (1-1/2 long by 1/2 wide). The nut has a lip on one side and that lip is supposed to extend up through a whole in the front wheel mount. The problem is that the outside diameter of the lip is wider than the inside lip of the hole it is supposed to fit inside of. I tried filing the lip down to make it narrower but that didn't work. I eventually had to give up on using that bolt/nut combination and go to my workshop and get a longer bolt that had enough length so that I could double-nut it. The tension needs to be just right so that it the front wheel assembly will turn but not be loose and wobbly. It also call for grease between the surfaces of the parts involved, and they do not supply any. Another trip to my workshop.I see that others have complained about a lack of lock-washers. The truth is that some bolts have them and some don't. So, another trip to my workshop. When I finally got the whole thing assembled, however, I was pleased. I was a journeyman sheet metal worker for ten years so the problem is not lack of experience in working with mechanical things. While I'm glad with my results, I don't see how the average guy with limited mechanical know-how would be as pleased. So, for me, I rate it 4 because I like what I ended up with. But for others, hmmm.

Pretty nice wagon.
The only problem I had was that the special nut that allows the steering to pivot had a hole that was too small. I drilled it out to 1/2". Not a big deal for me, but a lot of people may not have a 1/2" drill and a 1/2" drill bit. Otherwise: this is replacing a Roadmaster that is over thirty years old, which is why I went with Roadmaster instead of the other brand which is about 30% more money, and they are all made in China unfortunately. Now; if I could only find wheels for the old Roadmaster for less than half the price of a new wagon, I will put the old one back in service. My granddaughters ran the plastic wheels off of the old one.

Grandson likes it
Bought foe my grandson and he likes it. Easy enough to put together and fun to drag toys around yard. Handle is perfect for any size kid that can walk. It is sturdy and great for hauling toys or for gardening. Still have old one from 20 years ago just has some rust.

Great wagon, once you get it put together!
We wanted our little granddaughter to have this wagon right away, not to have to wait for it to be put together, so we did it. It wasn't hard to do, except for part of the handle, which really didn't want to fit into the piece it was supposed to. My hubby finally wrestled it in. Took us about 2 hours to put the whole things together, mostly because of that. But the look on her face when she got her "wagon" was priceless! She had wanted one for a long time, and just took off with it, pulling it all around. If you don't want to spend the extra $$ for a Radio Flyer - this one's basically the same - a nice wagon that should last her a while!

Great for moving stuff
This wagon is strong and stable. I like keeping my diesel heater in it so I can move it around to refill or go into another room.
