This is a really nice selection of vaneer samples. They are large and give a good representation of various species. I will use these as samples for customers to select wood for custom projects.

I received 40 nice wood veneers labeled with species of wood and country of origin. One of the veneers somehow missed getting labeled but the seller quickly responded when I sent a message with photo of the piece to let me know what type of wood it was. All in all, an excellent purchase at a very fair price. I have previously purchased 2 of the 65 piece veneer packs from this same seller to use for thin veneer inlay projects and have been very satisfied with quality of the veneers, variety of woods included and packaging/ condition within which the veneer arrives. When i need more veneer for future projects, this will be my go to seller!

Great product, just as advertised

I'm an artist that turns objects on a wood lathe (primarily from wood), and I have just begun to work with bracelets and rings, something I never thought I might consider. The veneers I ordered arrived today (4 days after placing the order!), and I must say I'm pretty impressed. I expected to get 40 pieces of wood veneer that were 12" X 6", but as you can see by the image, close to half were that size range (the rest being wider than 6'). Again, looking at the image, the bottom two fanned-out rows averaged at 6", and then ranged up to 9" width, which is the top row. There is an impressive array of wood types, and the selection is fairly evenly divided between domestics and exotics. They don't know me from Adam, so I believe I can safely say the pieces sent are random choices, and many have very nice figure to them. While I am not saying this is typical (after all, this is the first order I made with this seller), I will indeed order from Chicago Veneer again. Nicely done, Chicago Veneer, and thank you!

The collection of veneer pieces were very nice.

I did receive all 40 veneers. What I did not want were the four duplicate veneers that were sent to me in order to count 40 total in their description. I was expecting 40 different veneers, not 36. I paid too much for this product.
