Automotive Computer Network Repair: Diagnostic Strategies of Modern Automotive Systems

Good information and easy to read. Technical but does not go overboard using complicated computer terminology. Good book to buy to learn the basics of automotive network systems. Could use more graphics to help understand the terminology better.

Poorly written the information is spotty at best many syntax and grammatical errors same as other books in this series

This book is a rip-off. It is horribly written. The author uses very large font in only 50 pages, with all the contents you can easily access online from other free websites. Never buy any book from this publisher.

I received the book quickly and it has a boatload of pertinent data. The electronic version is priced right but the ancient paper books comes at a premium.

Good solid information, but it does require you to have a working knowledge of cars to start with. Lots of information that is hard to find elsewhere.

A must read for someone new to modern day diagnostics. I wish I had even just a small portion of the author's knowledge

Not really impressed, All the information supplied in the book can be found in any computer book, All this book does is to describe the different network topologies and how some of them are applied to the automotive sector. The last section of the book just repeats information supplied previously and seems to have been created to increase the number of total pages. Although the price of the book is cheap I still consire it to be have been a waste of money (at least in my case).

This is a great read for any automotive technician, granted that if your an entry level tech I would not recommend this book for teaching comprehensive network diagnostics, but more of an in-depth refresher. With that being said, I have purchased 3 of the authors books and each one is as interesting as the last.. I will be purchasing more from the author.
