This clock is beautiful. I ordered it from Comtachi Japan and it arrived 16 days later. That's really fast considering it came all the way from Japan. It is very cute and easy to set since the word alarm is written on the back next to the button. When the alarm goes off, Totoro's umbrella moves up and down. The tree next to him also moves down revealing a music box behind it and the Totoro theme song serves as the alarm sound. The little white guy serves as the second hand, and the silver hand marks the alarm by hour. There is no sleep button but there is a button on the back that turns the alarm on and off. The only odd thing I noticed is that Totoro is actually green not grey, which isn't clear in the picture but it's minor and kind of cute since he matches the color of the tree. Overall a great product worth the money. Would buy again, highly recommend!

If you love Totoro from the Studio Ghibli movie, you will love this clock. It is an alarm clock and has an actual music box hidden under the green door on the front. When the alarm goes off, Totoro also raises his umbrella and the door opens to show the small music box inside. The little white character is the second hand. The clock makes us love to hear the alarm instead of jumping up to turn an alarm off in the morning so we don't have to hear it. The music is the title song from the movie. Fun for children and adults alike. The only consideration is if your child is overly vigorous with toys it may not be appropriate as it probably needs to be handled gently, as it is a clock.

Ordered for my grandaughter and was certain it would not arrive in time for her birthday. I was also uncertain it would meet requirements as an alarm clock: awaken one without scaring, ease of use, quality construction. Concerns were completely unnecessary. Takumi Japan has out done any other purchases I have ever made through "other sellers" from Amazon, and I have generally had good results. Package was received in excellent condition, thoughtfully packed for its journey, and received far ahead of estimated arrival. The clock is very high quality, works well and with ease. Couldn't be happier!

It’s cute and makes beautiful song with moving Totoro and leaves when you set on alarm .I’m very happy to get this clock!

It is a very cute clock with a delightful Totoro figure that moves when the clock strikes. I bought this product having previous experience with Citizen watches and clocks which were well made and reliable. However, I experienced having some difficulty with the continued mechanical operation of this clock. I have tried the obvious fixes such as changing the battery, but have not been able to get the clock to work. Would love to have this clock if it would work.

Was a mother's day gift, and came just in time. Mom loved it.

Stopped working after half a year. Sad.

妻へのプレゼントとして購入。とりあえず、喜んで貰えたが、価格相応のリアクションは貰えなかった(^^;)やや「割高感」あり。トトロの使用料の分が、高くなっているのかな

可愛いくて娘もとても気に入っています。ただ、目覚ましとしてはあまり効果がなく、娘はまったく起きないです。隣の部屋の私はいつもこれで目覚めますので人によるとおもいます。

大好きなトトロの、優しい音でおめざめトトロさんが動きます。ブーブー機械音に比べればバッチリ目覚めではないが、もそもそゆったりと1人で起きて着替えてます朝から怒鳴りながら起こしたくないので
