HanesMen's Ultimate Full-Zip Hoodie, Men's Hooded Fleece Sweatshirt with Zipper

This is a thicker, more stiff feeling cotton, heavy duty feeling. Great quality, looks larger for the size selected but being cotton, I expect it to shrink a bit so I sized up. This is a repeat buy for me, perfect slouchy look, and long with leggings for women to cover your bottom- and then nice fitting for men, fits broad shoulders well and the length is perfect. We love these.

This is a high-quality staple hoodie that feels $50+ while costing about $15! Adds warmth with soft interior plush while still light enough to wear as a warm-weather layer. There’s a slight stiffness to the cotton knit that I prefer, as it gives structure around a half-open zip.I (5’4” 130lb woman) got a size S: the fit is roomy but not extremely oversized, fitting well in the shoulders. Hits widest point of hips at full length, but waistband is easily adjusted up for a shorter, more bloused fit.One minor complaint: wish the kangaroo pockets side seams were slightly higher, to hold a cell phone more securely.

I’ve been a fan of the Hanes Ultimate Full-Zip Hoodie for years and recently picked up another one. Overall, I still really love this hoodie! The fit is perfect for me, and it's super comfortable. I wear it all the time, whether for lounging at home or running errands, and it’s versatile enough to pair with anything.However, I’ve noticed that the material isn't quite the same as it was when I bought one about 4 years ago. Back then, the fleece felt a bit thicker and more plush, which I really loved for warmth and softness. The newer version feels a little lighter and not as thick as before, which is fine for milder weather, but it's not quite as cozy as my old one.That said, the quality is still good, and it’s still an excellent hoodie for the price. I just hope Hanes brings back that thicker fleece feel from the past in future releases. Despite the change in material, I’d still recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable hoodie!

The hoodie fits well, it's not oversized but allows for some layering underneath. The material is thicker than expected considering the price. Has a heavier feel than expected. The sleeves are a little more puffy compared to the picture but have elastic cuffs making the hoodie fit more like a classic pullover vs the full zip (full zips tend to make the fit a little weird). The small sits nicely at belt line (I'm 5'6" with a longer torso). Overall great! Looks stylish enough to layer over a button up. Will report back on wash and wear.

I wanted a fullzip sweatshirt in red and the Hanes women's ecosmart sweatshirt is not available in that color. I am pleased with the color, the warmth, and the quality of the fabric, which is 90% cotton as compared to only 50% cotton in the women's sweatshirt. I wear a women's large but needed to go down to a men's small. I was dissappointed, however, with the zipper and its appearance. It is a cheap looking metal zipper that does not lie as flat as the nylon zipper in the women's sweatshirt. Overall, a good choice except for the zipper.

I needed to replace my lightweight all-cotton hoodie after the sleeves became frayed from heavy use. I first bought a Fruit-of-the-loom hoodie which was 60 % and 40% polyester. It was soft, lightweight and looked great but provided very little warmth. It also didn't do a good job of wicking away moisture when I wore it for a jog.I next bought the Hanes Ultimate Hoodie, which is also a single-layer hoodie, but contains 85-90% cotton. The cloth is also thicker than the Fruit-of-the-Loom hoodie, so the Hanes hoodie did provide the warmth I wanted. As a single-layer hoodie, I still consider this to be a light-weight hoodie, but if you live in California or another warm-climate state, you might consider this to be medium-weight.Now for the fit. I am 5'6" and weight 158 lbs. so I bought a medium size hoodie. The Hoodie comes oversized to allow for shrinking, so I didn't panic when I took it out of the package and found it looked too big. After washing it and shrinking it in the dryer, it fit perfect. Some of the reviewers noted that the zipper doesn't lie completely flat after washing. Yes, that's sort-of true, but the effect is minimal. Another review complained that the material felt rough. Yes, that's only true if you compare it to all-polyester hoodies. The hoodie is made out of cotton and cotton always feels a little rougher than polyester. However, it was just as soft as my cotton sox. My only real complaint is the size of the pockets. The pockets are small. Even if I make a fist, my hands barely fit in the pockets.
