D LEAD Hand Soap, 8 Ounce Bottle, 4222ES-008

De lead is a must have for any of you lead slingers out there. You have to use this stuff to clean off lead and metal particles after a day at the g club. This stuff is great yea even if you use gloves. You know you had to fiddle with something. I also use after doing a Ballistol baptism of pieces in need of a cleaning. It’s usually best to wear latex gloves if you’re really cleaning but regardless. This is great stuff and it works. Keep your hands clean from nasty metals as much as you can guys. Go with de lead.

We hit the gun range once a week and this stuff gets any lead or metals off your hands after shooting. You should always use cold water when cleaning up after a session at the range so that your pores don't open up when you are washing your hands...keeps the lead out! I then follow up with a little regular soap and warm water. Great product and keeps me protected from harmful metals after shooting.

It works great, and the scent is very good. I think it is coconut. It lasts a long time too.

The soap is a bit like a gel, and smells like an ordinary industrial hand cleaner. It lathers and rinses well, leaving hands feeling well washed. I have no way to determine effectiveness in removing lead or other metals, but expect it probably does. I use their lead wipes immediately after being done shooting, and follow up with two rounds with this soap afterwards. The lid on the bottle isn’t sturdy, so it should be carried in a field-worthy container for on site use. I would recommend this - lead poisoning is worth avoiding.

I did not buy this product for a long time because I believe that it's not different than other hand cleaners. I bought this product to try out recently after a shooter friend was tested for high lead. What I found was my hands were very clean after I used this product after shooting. The regular hand cleaners were not able to get rid of all the black marks from the residue of the gun powder.
