Great flat iron, NOT a curling iron
I’d give this 5 stars for a flat iron. 2 for a curling iron. Both my curling iron and flat iron died on me at the same time. I was hoping this would solve the problem of having to buy two tools. I’m going to have to buy a curling iron. It’s great as a flat iron, but it’s basically a flat iron with curved edges. I could make these curls with my old flat iron. So, if you’re looking for a good flat iron, grab it. If you’re looking for two tools for the price of one, move along.

Cheaply made- not worth it
Few things I didn’t like...The plates are almost beveled, which doesn’t get the full surface of the hair you slide through. The plates move back and forth and slightly up and down... but you can’t really clamp it down much to really straighten your hair.. I had it up to the highest temp of 410 degrees and it still didn’t straighten my hair very well.It feels cheap in your hands...very light weight! The curling aspect is a great idea, but this one is so very hard to get down. I tried for 30 minutes and ended up using my curling wand instead. I am returning this and will just buy another awesome GVP hair straightener from Sally’s! I’d say this is probably good for a beginner who has the time to sit down for 45 mins to semi straighten their hair. . Even the accessories it comes with are cheap feelings. Flimsy plastic comb, and the clips are dollar store quality. I had high hopes for this and was bummed!

Just a straightener, and not a very good one at that
I thought there was more going on here than just a straightener with a rounded casing, but that's all this is. A regular old straightener. And not that great of a straightener at that. It does not curl my wavy, relatively easy to curl hair at all. It does straighten it, but leaves it looking a bit dull and crunchy, not smooth and straight like my normal (not expensive) straightener. I can sort of get curls with my regular straightener but thought this would make that process easier somehow since it's called a "curling iron" in the description, but nope. Save your money, there's nothing special going on here.

Excellent value - works amazingly well
I have a head full of thick, very long, straight hair. I purchased this straightener to curl my hair. It works very well for curling. I love that the cord swivels, so you don’t have to fight with it while spinning it. I also love that the flat heating bars are about an inch from the end, which gives you something to hold onto when curling. It also has a lock on the temperature setting, which is something I HATED about my last iron. You can’t accidentally change the temperature while curling. Definitely a great value for the money.

The BEST 2 in 1! An every day tool for me for sure! Works amazingly!
The best! I had a flat iron that works great for straightening my hair which is naturally curly, but once it's been straightened it would never hold a curl. I bought this so it would hopefully hold the curls and not give the creased look because it's rounded and has floating plates. My hubby got it for my for Christmas and honestly, this heats up sooo fast, the curls are amazing and hold for hours, even over night. It also straightens wonderfully too. Best 2 in 1 I've ever tried.

Kicked the bucket at 7 months
I have really enjoyed this flat iron and was happy to upgrade from the one I had for more than 15 years that was starting to act sketchy. But then... this new one that cost more than $50 stopped working after just 7 months of use. The 15 year old clunky one was $20 and I can buy basically the same model today for that same price. And that's what I'll probably do since I have no desire to spend $100 every year replacing flat irons. Sad.

Best curler I've used!
I have naturally wavy hair, but anyone with wavy hair knows it has a mind if it's own sometimes so I decided to kick it up a notch and get this 2 in 1. Heats up fast and give you beautiful curls in a short amount of time. Straightener works well too but I prefer using my conair as it has more surface area.

Dont waste your money.
You get what you pay for!It doesn't get as hot as needed. The temperature control is in Fahrenheit and Celsius so you have to push 2 buttons for certain amounts of time to get it as high as it can go. Its a bit awkward to hold too.Now I have to spend more money to get a good one.
