I had ACDF surgery recently and was given a medical grade hard neck brace to wear post-op., but I figured I'd buy a soft one to sleep with. This one is cost effective, but seems to retain too much sweat odor and changes color around the elastic area due to absorbing sweat and washing. I needed to wash every few days, and the extra "glove" that it came with helped to prolong the need to wash so often, but the directions did not have any instructions as to the included sleeve/glove, so I figured it was to go over the neck brace as a protective layer. Though it came in black and the collar I ordered was grey.After a month of continued use, I noticed the brace becoming a looser fit than when I first started to use it, but overall I am glad that I bought this, as the required 24/7 brace wearing post surgery would have been much more difficult had I only use the hard brace alone.

Once my dad put it on, he was sent to tears. His neck hasn’t been treating him well for the past years, so I thought I would try this out in attempt to reduce the pain. He told me when he put it on, he could feel the difference right away. My dad was telling me how the support was great and stopped him from doing things that would usually hurt his neck. Another thing he said was that the fabric was very comfortable and not abrasive on the skin. He says it’s very comfortable. I think getting comfort blue was a good choice because the way it’s built has a small support area on the top and then the main section on the bottom unlike some of them where it’s reversed. Overall it’s a lovely product and if we need a replacement, we know where to go. :)Edit: It’s been a few years now and the product has still held up and it still provides great neck support for my dad. Definitely recommend it!

I have a thin but long neck. I have to many issues to list. Works for my neck pain that causes migraines and pain down back and arms. I'm trying to keep living hold off surgery as long as I can.

Good neck brace but not quite tall enough for me - I have a long neck. Doesnt provide quite the support I’d like but Ive used while in-flight and it does help. Almost anything is better than the airplane seat/headrest.

Kept waking up with neck pain and headaches, tried to sleep with this on because I thought my issue was related to the position I sleep in, but I didn't sleep as good with it on... Not sure if you should to wear it to sleep unless directed by a doctor for recovery or whatever. Switching pillows fixed that problem for me... BUT! I started to wear it around the house because it helped my posture & made me more aware of the unnecessary stress I was putting on my cervical spine with daily activities so I'm glad I got it. It is comfortable, I may use it as an alternative to a neck pillow when traveling. Maybe people will feel sorry for me

I was given clearance by my doctor to stop wearing the awful hard collar I received after my spinal fusion surgery. However, I felt like I still needed some support occasionally throughout the day and bought this softer collar. It has a little bit of rigidity, but the padding is cushiony if that makes sense. The contour in the front is nice for your chin so that your head isn't held at an unnatural angle all the time. The collar comes with a removable sleeve (gray) that is soft and silky and will be easy to wash. This collar was worth the money!

Device is uncomfortable even though it fit fairly well and did not provide barely any support- just kind of chokes you. Found better devices on eBay from China- hopefully they will work out.
