As a starter, nobody is responsible for choosing the right gasket for your need but you. This one gets 5 stars because it advertises the measurements accurately and that is all which is needed. To try to choose your gasket by coffee maker brand or model is a fool`s errand and don`t cry if it does not fit.However, whereas most items come with at least 3 units, this one is ONLY ONE. I let myself be fooled by the "3-cups" thing. And that brings my rating down because it makes it far too expensive. Period.

Bought this to replace an aging ring seal but this is actually worse than the one I had. To not allow leaks I have to tighten it so hard which I never did with my original ring seal.

I love that it's made from silicone. The seal is perfect and I know it will last quite a long time. I've had my coffee maker for about 4 years now, and although the original silicone gasket still holds, I knew that sooner or later it would give out. I bought one at the local supermarket but it's made of rubber. Actually, this gasket turned out to be better than the original one, which is a bit too thick - almost twice as thick as the one I bought - and I noticed that the gap between the bottom and top of the coffee maker is smaller and looks better!

Fits perfectly on my Bialetti Venus 3-cup. Much better than the standard rubber ones.
