It took me a long time to find this product. I remembered "glassine" pages from the stamp-collecting day sof my use. All the 'serious" stamp collectors had them. Turns out they are good for vintage photo collectors too. They help separate photos and ephemera that are on opposing pages in an album, allowing you still to see both pages without a divider. They are also very thin so do not use up much space.I strongly endorse this product. It is the correct thickness and sturdiness for separating photos/paper/ephemra so as the binder shifts around the items on opposing pages don't rub + damage each other!Use these between your pages and you won't need a plastic "pouch" to protect each item.BTW these glassines look good on black paper. I use a big paper cutter to cut mine but you can use scissors as well to fit it to your needs.

This glassine paper roll is a game-changer for my pastel artwork! I use it to protect areas I've already completed from smudging, and it works flawlessly. The paper is thin enough to allow for precise application, yet sturdy enough to prevent color lifting when removed. A must-have for any pastel artist!

Glassine paper makes a wonderful interleaf for albums containing photos, original art, or any other work needing separation and protection. It is acid-free, has no wax that can come off, and is easy to work with. I use it to archive my oil pastel works, and find it is inexpensive and reliable. I use a straight-edge metal ruler to tear it. The role contains a lot of paper and lasts a long time for this kind of purpose. If you are an artist or a scrapbooker you'll find this an excellent product. Highly recommend.

Glasine is perfect for protecting your art work It works to separate your painting from outside obsticles, keeping it clean. Also keeps your hands off the canvas/material you are using for drawing/painting so that you do not smudge your project when working on it.

Used this to pack fine paintings and fragile artwork. Would have liked the option of having sheets that are a little wider - say 18 rather than 12 inches.

Works great without excessive curling.

This paper will work well for protecting my watercolor art. I can size and make my own envelopes with it to put finished pieces in to gift or store. Product says it has UV light protection and will protect from dust and dirt.

I wanted to replace the glassine wrappers for my Divine Comedy book collections. It seems that at some point in the 60-70's publishers used to use glassine as sort of dust jackets for books, especially, it seems, scholarly titles. Anyway, I wanted to replaced the yellowed ones I had so bought this roll and cut them down to size. So far, so good, they cut easily and folded well and look great on my vintage books, especially in book sets in slipcases. Can't complain, but also wish it came in sizes larger than 12" inches for my taller books.
