I purchased these (the 1.0 w) to provide accent lighting for a church service (specifically to add light underneath a glass bowl serving as a baptismal font. The size, ease of use, and spare remote got me thinking very quickly about where else I could add splashes of color, and the basic palette is broad enough to make that very easy. That said, if you're thinking along the same lines you probably want to buy the highest watt version available. They're dimmable, but even at the highest setting they're not very bright (at least in a large, well-lit sanctuary), so the color washes out quickly. On the other hand, in lower light settings (evening service) and where the light is somewhat contained (I put one in a clay jar) they are excellent. I haven't used the adhesive yet, and may never because I like being able to move them around. I also haven't had them long enough to comment on battery usage. For now, though, I'm very pleased with them. Good value in a simple but well-done product.

Pros: -Bright -Easy to assemble - Don't turn off by lightly brushing against them - Sticks well to flat surfaces - Light colors are very nice! Cons: - Doesn't stick well to slightly or heavily textured surfaces - Remote is kinda unpredictable (Will turn on all lights at once or only a few at a time despite the lights being right next to each other) Got these so I can see in my snake's cages when I clean. Only had them for one day now, but so far they are working great. By putting one at the top of each 36" by 18" cage, all corners are illuminated. In addition, they are working really well so far as they stick really securely to the melamine the cages are made of. They stick so well in fact, I couldn't take one off after I had accidently stuck it in the wrong spot. They also really work well for my snake cages as they are not so sensitive that they turn on when my snakes brush up against them. 4 star though is because they do not stick well to slightly textured surfaces. I tried to stick an extra I had to my bedroom wall and it fell off after an hour. Also, they are kinda hard to control with the remote as I'll try to turn them all on at once but only a few will come on, despite the lights being right next to each other.

I have had these for a good minute, my household is very active with young men they can be very boisterous at times but the lights are still bright gorgeous in color. We use them daily in bookcases the battery life is pretty decent, easy to assemble I actually would like to add more to my collection, definitely a purchase coming soon.

Liked the product very much, good light with Good brilliance and color options. Easy to assemble, and controls work fantastic. After I ordered the first 6, I then re ordered 6 more. For the money, ease of install and overall result, you can't beat it. If I had to find a negative factor it would only be that for some people they might be a bit bulky once you add the tape underneath if you decide to go that route instead of the small screws they provide, but other wise so far they work and look fantastic. I'm liking my little rechargeable puck lights I received. Using them in 2 cabinets I modified into one tall cabinet for my ole 1978 Sansui 990BD Receiver , my 1977 Technics LS1700 Turntable in the top and my Album in the bottom cabinet. Easy to change the lighting to see up top or in the bottom looking for Albums to play. I like that the remote has setting 1 and setting 2, I have 2 lights in the top on #1, 4 lights in the bottom on #2, a little switch on the remote changes them easy. From the picture you get the ideal of what you can do with the lights. The light level is easy to change, my wife likes how you can set a mood for an evening of listening where they're not to bright till you need them to be bright with the remote. Great price for 6 puck lights that have magnets on the back of them, self sticking tape stuck good to the cabinets so far (2 months now) and haven't came loose. I like the single 1 usb plug with 3- "C" plugs (2 sets) for the lights to charge them. Which I'm surprised at how long they're holding a charge so far. They could be used for lots of different things I guess but for me it was just right for my needs. Thanks for reading. Good Night!

These lights are easy to install - agree with other reviewers that the adhesive that comes with these is garbage. Save yourself the trouble and get some 3M strips from the start so you don’t have to reinstall. The lights themselves are very bright - I like that there are dimmer and color settings to suit your mood. Biggest downside is the battery life. I use mine maybe 2-3 hours a day and after about a month the lights were so dim you could hardly tell they were on. I have six of them installed in my kitchen so that means that I’m running through 18 batteries a month. Not the end of the world, but is costly and just a pain to have to switch out the batteries so often.
