Good story
Good storyline. I liked the twist at the end lthough it was sort of expected just given the past and present story lines.

Nice read
I'm so done with the kitty/colossus ting going on but was cool to see the surprise marriage of the other two (I wont spoil it)

Serviceable
Marc Guggenheim's love of early 80s Claremont era X-men comes through, but his stories with Gold are always just functional. The marriage plotline was both anti-climactic and boring, and the rotating makes the book feel like it has no real "aesthetic." The bait-and-switch feels like early 90s era X-men fan service, the action sequence is poorly paced, and the villains are lack-luster. It is primarily nostalgia and character consistency that keeps me interested.

It was ok
Not bad but this book doesnt feel like the X-men to me.

It's alright
The book continues to tell X-Men stories at break-neck speed. Iceman invited Pyro onto the team in the previous story arc and got lectured over it. Kitty relents, of course, because they have invited Magneto into their ranks more than once now so what standards do they really have? Colossus gets kidnapped on a mission and spends most of the storyline shirtless and tied to chairs while the villains spell out their plans. The team find Colossus and take on villain of the week just in time for the wedding. Meanwhile, Rachel is facing down Mesmero and looks to be suffering from it, but in X-Men: Red it is revealed that Cassandra Nova is messing with Rachel's head as well. Are both of these things happening at the same time? We'll find out in the next and last trade paperback for X-Men Gold.

Innecesario
