Sturdy packaging; arrived intact
Sturdy packaging; arrived intact. Kids are playing with them both in their pool and on land! Seems sturdy, well made, everything working the way it should. The wheels retract for water play and go back down for land; there are lights, etc., making it fun to put in the pool at night. This is only the first week they have them--given for Easter, so we'll see how they hold up over time. They really like them!Bought two, thinking they could race them and play together. However, I guess since the remote runs on only one channel, one remote interferes with the other toy--so nope, they have to run them separately or take turns. They don't seem to care that much and still think they are fun. Pricing was a deal in the warehouse sale.

Very fun, especially the water shooting canon
Very fun, especially the water shooting canon! However, one of the water props would fail intermediately (probably an assembly line issue) and... the retractable wheel assemblies do not have an automatic stop action at either end, when transforming.

Quick Tank
Decided to treat myself to something other than a rc boat or car. This tank does it both. The tank is fairly quick on wood floors, cement, and carpeting. It performs a 360 at the push of a button. In the water it behaves very well balanced. Not a speed boat by any means but it glides thru calm waters with ease. The water cannon shoots a steady fine stream of water. You have the option to fill the turret with water via faucet or use the attached hose which is connected to the turret and stays in the water. Since am not going to be using this tank to put out any fires anytime soon I disconnected the hose. Overall, this is perfect for pools and ponds. Pressing a button to have the wheels retract is very cool, so is the led lighting that can be turned off in order to save battery life. The only downside, this is not for small children. Removing the battery compartment requires removing the turret which has 2 plugs, and 3 screws. Mine came with a mini philips. For a toy class it’s very well made, sturdy, and heavy.
