They're still shipping mismatched brackets
The first thing that caught my eye is that one of the holes that I need to use is missing from one bracket, but present on the other. Then I saw that one of the lift pins is welded on but the other is riveted on. The riveting doesn't clear the side plate, so to use this I'd either have to dig out a small hole in the door for the rivet or have it askew by about 1/16".Something else didn't feel right about the two brackets either, so I measured them and found that while one is the advertised 13 gauge thickness (0.0897"), the other is 14 gauge (0.075"). I'll buy from another manufacturer, rather than perform quality control from this one.

Made me a Hero
we've got 3 cars in a townhouse community with very small driveways and extremely limited guest parking so getting cars in and out of the garage easily and often is lifestyle critical for the family. While hosting some out of town relatives for an extended stay (making the in/out even MORE critical!) the door started misbehaving. It was opening fine but each time we tried closing it we'd hear a loud SNAP! just as it approached the bottom and it would go back back as though something was in the track. The double door as well as all of the mechanicals and the electronic opener are 20+ years old so my wife wanted to call a garage door company with an emergency request. I knew that would mean a full replacement - tracks, door, and opener taking an extended period and lots of $$$.On close inspection I saw that the bottom right lifting bracket (obviously I didn't know that's what it was at the time or even that these parts were available!) had developed a stress crack and the outside strip of metal where the cable connects was bending under pressure just enough to knock the door safety sensor out of alignment making the opener think something was in the way of closure. With my wife insisting I call the garage door company I spend 30 minutes surfing the net and learned two important things:1) that you can over-ride the safety sensor by holding the door close button down the entire time the door is moving (you definitely want to make sure your 3 year old child or brand new Tesla is not actually in the path while you're doing that!). This allowed us to continue to use the door for the immediate short term.2) this bottom lifting bracket thing is actually a replaceable part and costs less than $15 delivered! So I placed the order with rush delivery, told my wife the door repair was scheduled to occur in two days. I suggested some activities for the family that day saying that I would sacrifice the fun to stay home and manage the garage door repair. After everyone went to sleep I snuck back to the computer and watched some "DIY porn" learning how to replace these things successfully. On day two I had everyone's sympathy as they departed for a day of fun together and I reviewed the DIY videos one more time and prepped the tools. The FedEx truck showed up about 2 hours later (as scheduled) and the part looked like an exact replica of what was currently installed. With the benefit of the videos and preparation I carefully removed the old lifting bracket (maintaining some tension on the cable so it does not unravel from the spool is critical!) and easily put the new one on reusing the bolts from the old one. The entire operation took under an hour including setup, replacement, testing, and clean-up.My wife called to see if the garage door guy had shown up yet and I happily reported that she must have misunderstood - "the guy" was actually me and the garage door was once again fully operationally for less than $15. I know I'll eventually have to replace all of those things as doors aren't made to last forever but I feel pretty good about dodging that expense and inconvenience for now at least.

Not a replacement for Clopay garage door hardware.
I have clopay hardware on my garage doors, this is not a replacement for that. My garage door has pre-installed 'nuts' within the garage door and at least one of the holes won't match up, so you'll need to drill at least one hole. There are two holes that will match up if you install it upside down, but that presents another problem because the door will bind. Drilling a hole to match up the pre-installed nuts appeared to me to be a poor solution because that hole will also meet up with another pre-cast hole that would weaken the mount. I was already replacing the old one because it had bent.

Great value, works, make sure you have right tools
Unlike other reviewers, both pieces had same holes, which didn't line up with my holes anyways, easily rectified with some self-drilling metal roof screws I had. The doo hickey for attaching the cable end loop is significantly bigger than what I was replacing, which required trimming and re-crimping the cable end. Make sure you wear safety glasses when messing with cables under tension! Garage door now opens without half the wheels popping out of the track, great value.

Beware - mismatched brackets - you may not be able to use both!
The item came with two mismatched brackets - see photo. Another recent review noted the same problem, so beware this seems to be a trend. The right bracket may have been fine, but the left didn't match any of the holes in my garage door - and that was the one I needed to replace. I had to drive 45 minutes to the nearest store that had the correct bracket in stock. Wasting my time on the weekend = one star.

An excellent choice
This really was perfect! Two pieces, right and left. Universal application. Fit my 30 year old garage doors. Fit the replacement door rollers I bought last year. Sturdy. Strong. Plenty of holes to attach them. The mushroom head where the cable attaches is better than the original. I saw some negative reviews. Maybe earlier versions? Seriously, this set has no problems. I strongly recommend. Also, the process. I discovered I had a door problem, ordered from my phone, in the garage. Next day, they arrived, I installed them. I didn't have to go out. Didn't waste my time. Didn't have to endure the crazy drivers, the crowds, or salespeople. A big "Thank You" to the vendor, and to Amazon!

roller holes aren not aligned as my old bracket
1st time wrote review on Amazon purchase because I was so upset to realize that the roller holes are wider than the ones I had on the original garage door, this is after I did everything including unwiding and widing torsion spring.. lessons learned.. highly suggest to compare this with the ones you have and make sure they'll fit..

Works but I had to modify it
Brackets were mismatched so I had to drill a hole in the left one to make it work. I figured this was easier than the hassle of shipping it back. It is working

Not very sturdiness
I bought this one to repair my garage-door. But I think the quality is not good enough. The material looks thinly ,not very sturdiness .... even it is easy to install......Talk about “value for money”, I think it’s ok not very expensive. Totally I’m not very satisfied with this purchase,so give 3 stars I think this is fair for me and seller.

Well Made Brackets
The brackets were usee to replace the existing rusted brackets. They installed easily as they had more predrilled holes than the originals, so linning them up correctly was not a challenge.

Amazing! Buy this
No one sells these anywhere, and the best part of it is I was quoted 300-400 to install new ones by a garage door companies, and look at this! Works perfectly and saved me a lot of money!
