This Winter Combat Jacket eventually became known as the Tanker Jacket. This Cotton jacket was issued in two variations. The first model was produced with exterior patch pockets and the second model jacket came with interior hidden pockets. Collectors covet the first model jackets due to their scarcity. Photos of General George S. Patton abound indicating his favorite combat jacket as the first model style. However, the vast majority of winter combat jackets that were worn in combat by US military forces in WW2 was the second model jacket with the hidden pockets. We were honored to supply the feature film "FURY" with our quality jackets in both the first and second model variations. Shown here is a photo of Fury star Brad Pitt wearing one of our first pattern tanker jackets that has been heavily aged. This Brad Pitt Jacket is limited time we are offering an accessory kit so that you can customize your tanker jacket to mimic the jackets from the movie Fury. Affixing this kit is reserved for our customers to do themselves. Kits include 2nd Armored Division "Wooly" insignia, Khaki style rank chevrons, and grenade ring for the zipper. We also include a swatch of fabric for you to sew on field expedient repairs to the jacket to give it that real worn-in look.
A**R
Okay, I guess . . .
It ran small, as you would expect Asian made jackets go, but the authenticity is laughable. The colors are wrong, the fabric is wrong, and the "badges," they are actually called PATCHES,. are 100% inaccurate. If you don't care about any aspect of authenticity add a star, and if you are super skinny, add another star!
