I brought a kitten home with ear mites, and I have two other cats. I had to treat all three. I believe one of the other two cats also had them as well because her ears got kind of gunky. I'm not fond of the smell, but I have issues with a lot of scents. I would say that's on me, but I did mark down for it because I can tell Azrael doesn't like it either. That's about all I can say negatively about this product. The little kitten fought me at first, but we've been through this about a dozen times now. His ears are mostly clear. I think the mites are gone, and I don't think I got any gunk the last time I did it. He has learned to like the process. Azrael has so much fur, she was a major challenge to try to treat. At first, the pesticide couldn't get through her fur to reach where the mites were, so I had to trim a lot of fur out of the way. Plus, the medicine made the fur around her ear just disgusting, and she takes great pride in her beautiful coat. She liked the wipes right from the start, though. She fought me all the way up until I got the first wipe into her ear, and then she turned into jelly. Her ears weren't nearly as gunky as the kittens, but I caught her early. Lucky would not let me touch his ears. For him, the drops were easy. He tolerated the drops, and then loved the massage afterwards. The wipes? No way, no how. I got as far as cleaning one of his ears one time. It was really clean, as he seems to be very fastidious about his hygiene. He hasn't had any mites, but he also has fur like felt. There really is no place for them to stick. The key, though, is that Azrael and the kitten have gotten more drops than Lucky, and I know those drops can be irritating. I believe that the reason why Azrael and the kitten both liked these wipes so much was because they were soothing. I'll have no problem using them up, even though I really don't need them anymore, because Azrael comes running every time I open the container. However, I can tell she definitely does not like the smell. We still haven't solved the issue with her gross fur around her ears, either. I'll probably end up trimming it off. I had to give her a bath once before. We won't be doing that again.

These work well to remove transdermal medication from my cat's ears. One side is textured. It has a mild scent.

I Use these wipes on my cat who has a cauliflower ear. I like to clean his ear regularly to minimize the wax and dirt/debris to avoid an infection. He had an aural hematoma caused by excessive head shaking or scratching. The vet drained the blood but opted not to do the matress stitch style surgery, which would have preserved the natural look of his ear. So his ear shrunk up once healed causing lots of nooks and crannies and a potential breeding ground for bacteria and future infections. These wipes help to keep his ear clean. The pads are on the thinner side and easily stick together .

I have a medium-hair cat with lots of hair in his ears. Thus, the ears gets dirty very easily. These wipes make it easy and it doesn't seem to bother him at all. It cleans all the dirt and wax. I do find the smell of the wipes a bit unpleasant, it does not smell like cucumber or melons. But my cat doesn't seem to mind it.

We live in the desert with high winds and blowing dust. Consequently our Rottie has tickly ears. This has been the best product so far to calm his itch and clean out his ears. I like this product so much that I bought an additional jar of wipes for my best friend’s dogs. I recommend.

I wasn't sure if these wipes would work, or even if my furbaby would let me use them. She's very persnickety, everything is always a process with her to make sure she's comfortable, you know how cats are. These have a pleasant smell, Seven of Nine doesn't mind it either so that's great. I had her lay down next to me while I sat on the couch. I placed the wipe against the inside of her ear, then my fingers on the outside of the wipe and the outside of her ear and just gently massaged her ear. I wasn't going so much for cleaning but more like introducing her to the process and seeing how she would react. Her poor ears must have been tormenting her because she just laid there and let me do it. Then I took a second wipe and did more of a cleaning, I have long nails so there's only so much I could do without poking her in the ear. I flipped her over (that's when she decided to protest) and repeated the process on the other ear. The areas that I used the wipes on look like brand spanking new kitten ears!!!! The deeper parts of her ear where I couldn't reach clearly show the difference. These are freaking magic! If Seven is happy, I'm happy. Will definitely be continuing to use these to get and keep her ears clean.

So these seem to work well, but the "cucumber melon" scent not only smells nothing like cucumbers or melons, but it's totally overwhelming. I open up the jar and the whole room starts to smell like these wipes. When I use it on my cat (which I have to do every day to clean up after a transdermal drug in his ear), then he smells like the wipes after that. I find it to be extraordinarily strong, and am shocked that he doesn't seem to mind.
