This floor is so comfortable to walk on because of the foam backing. Husband had the right tools to do the trim cutting around the doorways and stairways. He is in fact installing it right now in our family room. Once all the prep work and taping down the plastic is done this project is going smoothly. The plastic or vapor barrier is used when installing over a cement floor.It was helpful that we could order the 6" sample to help us choose the right color. Great looking floor, we are both very happy with our choice!!
