Overpriced for unfinished wood and missing hooks.
After having a bike hook pull out of drywall (yes it was properly anchored!) I decided to invest in this shelf because it anchors into two studs and looks nice in my house. I don't have to worry about my drywall cracking, and it is much easier to lift my bike and hang it on this shelf than it was to lift my bike over my head and hang the front wheel on a hook.The shelf arrived with the wood unfinished. Surprise! I had planned to put it up right away, but instead I had to take a few days to sand and finish it with some Danish oil. When I went to assemble it, I found that the joins between the supports and the wall board were not tight, and the supports wiggle a bit. Neither of these things are a big deal, but at this price point I definitely expected better. I've also had a visitor to my home comment on how it would look so much nicer if it wasn't plywood - the edges just don't look nice, even after sanding and finishing.I never even noticed until I went to write this review that it is missing the "utility hooks." Again, no big deal, except that apparently I didn't get all of the parts I paid for.I'm really glad that I got this shelf, but quite unhappy about the price:quality ratio.

Lovely and Functional Shelf Rack
This thing rocks. Two long screws to mount the primary support piece into wooden studs, and then everything just sets into that piece. This sucker is solid!! Put some paint primer on it and it would paint just lovely...I'm leaving mine bare for now.

Typically when I make a purchase, there's always some small part of me with buyers remorse, no matter the item. That is far from the case with this bike rack. In all applicable categories this thing is amazing, worth every cent!

The shelf is great. I was able to install in 5 minutes with just a screwdriver and a stud finder. The shelf is extremely sturdy so I don't have to worry about the bike crashing on me when I sleep.

the rack looks great. That old Varsity (?) in your ad --- beautiful! Weighs a couple tons so testimony to the sturdiness of the rack. the flat bars, chrome forks, paint and kick-stand complete the picture. Im pretty sure id get along great with the owner of that pretty thing
