The somewhat scary name simply means 'high in oleic acid' or high in monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid (good fat to you and me) of which it contains a whopping 84% (12% more than olive oil and 20% more than typical avocado oil).High oleic oils are relatively new to the block but are completely natural, having been developed through years of traditional selective plant breeding.
