Fits my Sachtler Ace XL perfectly.

I bought this for my Sachtler FSB 6 head and the tie-down works as intended. The only issues I found is the knob sometimes gets in the way of collapsing the legs, and sometimes the two prongs is a little more clumsy to use than the stock Sachtler 3-prong tie-down. Still, it's a great value for the price.

Ordered this in a pinch with 2 day delivery. Arrived during our shoot, just in time. We used it to attach our Sachtler Video 15 (100mm ball) to a porta job traveler. Fluid head was stable and we got some good smooth shots. Payload was on the lighter side at about 7 pounds. Was hesitant to order initially but it was the only option for Saturday delivery and ultimately pleasantly surprised. Had to pay it forward with a good review for the community.

This item does not work properly with any of the four tripod heads I own, Sachtler, Miller, Benro and Manfrotto. Needed a smaller tie down for a highhat and this one does not work sadly...

Works perfect with fsb8 and Dana dolly, only thing I didn’t like is that it’s made from derlin plastic and not aluminum as it appears in the photo, but overall works great.

I was looking for short knob for my Sachtler FSB8 to use on slider with 75mm bowl adapter.I only could find this skeptical product.I had no choice,maybe you either.In conclusion,I could tie down my FSB8 by this knob.But as you can see from my photos,this one is wider & shallow than official knob.So it can’t move like original.Only 30% action is allowed with this knob.However for slider usage,it’s not so problem because I normally balance slider by leveling base or tripod head that places under slider.So it can be used on already 3-axis balanced slider without problem.I hope Sachtler release official short tie-down someday.For temporary use,it works as I mentioned.My set up isGitzo series5-leveling base-Benro moveover12-cheap bowl adapter from ebay($50around)-FSB8 with this tie-down.It works.With my flowtech75 also can be used,but moving space is only 30%.
