best of the line
I looked at all the options and bought this one because it seemed the most simple and lightweight. The other options seemed overkill, heavy-duty, probably hot (neoprene), and uncomfortable. I came back here to buy another of this chin strap because it works so well and is so comfortable that I don't even notice it when on. I am very sad to see that it is no longer available and will try to by it directly from the company. Anyone seeing this, I suggest you try to get it directly through the company since the other options look very uncomfortable.

ok but doesn't stay in place
It's comfortable but it doesn't stay in place. It stretches to much.

Very comfortable and light weight.
This is a great chin strap. Much more comfortable than neoprene. I would give it 5 stars if the strap around the back of the head was adjustable. It's a one size fits all and my head is a little large. After 2 nights of adjusting, it works well.

NOT AN HONEST SITUATION
They said they didn't get the 2 I ordered back and recharged me, UPS has never lost one of my pkgs in 40 years...BUT THEY DIDN'T GET IT? Sure. On top of this, the product is cheap and crappy and slides off your head just so everyone knows.

Orientation Difficulty & Wont Remain In Place
FIRST THE GOOD:A) The product is lightweight and easily adjustable and has narrow straps.B) The product is not hot to wear since it is narrow and made of good material.C) Regardless of this or other manufacturers' designs, your hair (unless shaved) will be a mess in the morning.THE NOT SO GOOD:1) Difficult to know what strap goes towards the back. Instructions say the longest...difference between the two is hard to recognize. Especially if it falls off at night, you will have to turn on the light and mentally focus on orientation. One strap has small printing on it, so as long as it does not wear off over time and as long as you have the lights on, you can remember by the print which strap is what. Don't ask me if it is on the long or the short strap....I do not remember without looking at it and I have worn it now for a few weeks.2) The direction they tell you to place on your head tends to pull your chin backward and up, not just up. This resulted in jaw soreness. After loosening for comfort to prevent this, it becomes less effective.3) I reversed the direction on the head and this resulted in pulling the chin upward more than backward. Unfortunately, this resulted in the product falling off (more) at night due to movement.4) Product head straps will move/dislodge causing the unit to become ineffective. This occurs with the product incorrect direction and loose enough to be comfortable. This can be resolved by wearing it tight, which, unfortunately doing so will result in discomfort.PERSONAL DISCLOSURE: This is the first design I tried. However, I did consider each design mostly for comfort but also for what appeared to be an effective design. (Comfort means minimalist, less intrusive on face and head, and not hot.)

Best of the Best Non-Elastic is Key
Started out over 10 years ago making my own. Dr. said it was a crazy idea. Fast forward Dr's. now prescribed them. Since my homemade design I've tried every type from wide elastic one's used in hospital's, ones made out of wetsuit neoprene, etc. etc. They all had one thing in common; they were elastic and stretched. When i got this one I almost sent it back because no streach at all. Despite my ridged belief that elasticity was the main design element in all my previous Chin Straps I give it a try. It was a little bit difficult to get on and adjusted. But I persisted. This chin strap is the best and most comfortable of all but most of all it works the best keeping my mouth shut without having it streached so tight it cut off my circulation. And all the previous elastic chin straps would loose trere streach in just a month or two and have to be replaced. The only difficulty was learning how to get it on at night in the dark. Once I figured it out 9 months later its still working as good as when I first got it.

surprised
I have bought many anti-snore chin straps in the past five years and this has to be the best. When I first took it out of the package, I thought that I have been ripped off because it was small and thin. I have a normal male sized head and it was too small at first until I realized that it had velcro side straps that allowed me to extend for comfort. The thin design and straps allowed me to use my oxygen tubing without having the nosepiece force into my nose when I turn at night, the people that use oxygen will understand what that means. Finally, because it isn't large, it doesn't have ear pockets that irritate the ears. My biggest concern is probably how long it will last as I do wash mine regularly, but most others give out fairly soon. It seemed to fit looser than my others but it did hold my mouth shut to prevent snoring and dry mouth. Other anti-snore chin straps that I have bought and liked disappeared from Amazon and I need to continue another search. I hope this one stays around and will order some spares. I am not affiliated with this company and have received no compensation for this review and not been offered any specials for a good review like other products that I have bought.

Average at best
Does not suit securely on me head. Regularly awake up with it having shifted and no longer doing is job. Not sure why it gets such high reviews

This is the best chin strap by far
I've tried a LOT of different brands and styles of chin straps over the last few years and this one is the best of them all. It's strong, light, and comfortable. The straps are narrow but soft against the skin, and the fabric is gentle. There is no bad smell or weeks of off-gassing like you get with the neoprene type chin straps. Also this one won't make your skin too hot like the thicker style of chin straps. The velcro parts where you adjust the size are very narrow and short, but strong and high quality. There's enough attachment space that you have lots of room to adjust it for larger or smaller heads. The fabric doesn't really stretch at all, and that's great. I've found that fabric with too much stretchiness tends to break down and start to rip after a while, because you have to keep adjusting and tightening it every few weeks because the stretchy material... Stretches. So it can't maintain tension for long. Go figure. You don't have to do that with this one, it's pretty much set it and forget it.

Not recommended
Very limited sizing adjustment, and therefore found it on the small size.Straps did not stay in place well. This product did not work for me and I found it to be overpriced compared to other chin straps.
