ScunciEffortless Beauty Small No-damage Elastics, Black, 2mm, 102-Count

Although they look exactly like the ones I normally buy in store (same brand, same packaging, same backing) these are not the same. These are not stretchy and are EXTREMELY small! They are about the size of quarter and don't stretch, the amount of stretchiness is equal to that of string.

The stores in my area seem to sell out of Scunci firm hold hair ties quickly, so I looked on Amazon Smile and voila! Ordered three packs, and they're perfect for my needs: I have fine hair which is also thinning, so my sparse ponytail is hard to manage with loose, floppy, flabby hair ties. These fit nice and snug without damaging my hair, the price was right, and they're delivered right to my door~ instead of my having to try store after store, only to find they're sold out... so, needless to say, I'm a happy customer.

These are great products for ponytail bands but they were too stiff for what I was using them for. I need more flexibility and softer. For the use they are intended for they will be great.

These hair bands have a hard plastic coating where the two ends join. These will definitely damage your hair. The name is very misleading.They do make a hair band that is a continuous piece of fabric that is excellent. That is what I thought I was ordering. Still searching as I have only 4 left of the good ones.
