It turns out that this is a very tasty morning breakfast drink. My wife had to give up drinking coffee. While looking around for an alternative I remembered hearing about Postum a long time ago. I couldn’t find any on our store shelves. Then I checked Amazon. I ordered it right away. She is now enjoying it as part of her breakfast every day.

Taste good, no caffeine, good ingredients, I have been drinking it for years !

I remember Postum as a kid back in the '60s. This is a great substitute or even addition to coffee.

Horrible taste, vendor does not allow returns

WhenI was a kid this was what we had but then it seemed to disappear for many years. Amazon is one of two places I can find it. It is expensive otherwise I would give it a 5. I love the taste and warm memories it brings. I do add creamer and a sweetener to mine and to make it creamy may use milk instead of water. I love it.

Good to have the flavor that reminds me of having Postum with my Mom. It was always a nice way to end the day.

I like this product, but, with reservations. I remember Postum from my childhood. My grandmother drank it in her later years. I was surprised to see it appear on Amazon, especially with chocolate. I give this only three stars for two reasons: (1) the chocolate flavour is barely noticeable; and, (2) if the water is too hot or not hot enough, the product will clump and not dissolve well. Otherwise, as a substitute for coffee and for hot chocolate, it is serviceable.

This is a great coffee alternative! It is perfect for people who can't tolerate real coffee.
