Consistent Toasty Warm Heat!
I live in an over 20 year old, poorly insulated, double wide mobile home. The central heat and air has been removed due to theft issues while I had lived away for five years. Upon my return I did not have the funds to invest to have it reinstalled. Therefore I heat and cool my home with window air conditioning units and space heaters. Initially I bought some relatively inexpensive oil heaters from Walmart after finding that ceramic type heaters just we're not going to do the job. The oil heaters I purchased, although although having a thermostat have no reading that I could measure like 68° 70° excetera.I have found that the oil heaters work the best! They warm up large areas and keep everything nice and toasty even in low 20 degree temperatures. The lowest I have experienced thus far. Once again all these inexpensive oil heaters had was a setting of 1,2, and 3 being low, medium and high and then another dial that you can hear the thermostat click really has only one mode from nothing to kind of halfway. Although efficient in heating, my electric bills with the lack of insulation and not being able to set a temperature that could be regulated, were often off-the-charts! Sometimes nearing $400 in one month. This year I decided to invest a little bit of money and get an oil heater that was digital and that had a thermostat and a control that allows you to set the temperature and hopefully maintain a set temperature as opposed to just letting the thing run wild. I found these heaters on Amazon and saw all the reviews and immediately ordered two units. The units just arrived today and I immediately assembled them and read the instruction book, plugged them in and within moments immediate heat. All of the functions work as they should. The wheels roll freely. The package and the design of the unit is quite attractive. The casing seems durable and sturdy. The remote works quite well and from a good distance too.I actually needed to order three of these units and I'm getting ready to make another purchase as I write this review!Although my experience is minimal, these units appear to be well made and function as they should. They are attractive. The units come packaged well but Amazon shippers could do a better job of packing the units in the outer boxing as "handlers" are often rough and careless. One of my units was even put into the box upside down to begin with which was a little unsettling. Thankfully it appears to be working without any issues.I would recommend these heaters without reservation.

Heats nicely, very quiet, with a few minor downsides
My Aireplus 1500 W space heater is off to a good start. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but here are my observations: It worked right out of the box and was not leaking oil (yes, my expectations are often low for things made in China). This thing can really crank out the heat, but there are a couple of quirks with this digital heater that I never saw with my old "analog" oil-filled heaters.1. As the room temperature approaches the set temperature, the Aireplus (intelligently, I suppose) seems to reduce its heat output. I wish it didn't do that, as I'm way more interested in getting right up to the set temperature as quickly as possible, rather than experiencing a soft landing. Of course, one way to overcome this is to initially set the unit to a higher temperature than you really need, and when the room is at the desired temperature, ratchet down the setting on the Aireplus. While I do use this approach, it does require my managing the unit more than I had to with my analog heaters.2. The temperature gauge isn't all that accurate. Again, not a deal-breaker, because I can simply ignore the exact temperature setting and treat it more like I do the "warmer" or "cooler" positions on the temperature setting dials on my old (non-Aireplus) units.Other observations:1. The remote works especially well and is a real pleasure to use, with the only downside being that it runs on a flat, circular little CR2032 battery (it's included in the purchase, however, which is nice), which in my experience with other CR2032-powered devices never seems to last long and is not as cheap to replace as I would like. When it dies, I imagine I'll stop using the remote for good.2. The wheels are quite easy to attach (little wing nuts are included), but you do have to have the physical strength to turn the unit upside down and hold it while you attach them.3. I was surprised at how attractive the heater is. The black finish looks really sharp. I wasn't really buying it for its looks, but this is a nice bonus. Another bonus is how quiet it is. While I've never owned an electric, oil-filled heater that made a lot of noise, most seem to make little snapping/cracking/ticking noises as they heat up. This Aireplus unit is entirely silent. Finally, a word about longevity: I've owned a DeLonghi oil-filled electric heater for 29 years, and incredibly, it is still going strong and has never leaked a drop of its oil. On the other hand, I recently tossed out a HomeBasix oil-filled electric heater that I owned for 5 years. It worked great, but started leaking oil and actually ruined the hardwood floor in the room where I was using it (you guessed it - made in China). You can bet that I will be watching the Aireplus closely and will update this review if I encounter that problem.

Great for small rooms
This space heater works great for small rooms. It is ideal for situations where a certain person wants heat in a specific room but you don't want to turn on your central heat for the entire house. It may take up to 30 minutes to heat a room (depending on the size), but it can maintain the heat easily and efficiently. I have occasionally used this heater as a quick dry for wet towels, however make sure you do not cover the vent holes on the device.
