Faulty product, not durable
Not durable. In just 15 days, it is burnt again. Do not buy. I request philips to replace it.

These uv tube light for RO are genuine Philips. Even for so many years, I have been using UV tubes for RO water protection, because the uv LED ones are not always UV but instead just blue LEDs. My advice to fellow customers is, you go for UV lamps for 100% protection against viruses and bacterias. There are 3 frequency waves, UV A, B, C rays. The one required is UV C type rays which are needed to destroy viruses and bacterias. These UV C type rays emitted are powerful in UV tube lamps. So in conclusion, use UV tubes from Philips brand genuine, which you get only on Amazon. Thanks to seller and Amazon. Thanks.

Original Philips brand TVU 11W UV-C lamp
This looks like a genuine Philips product. I purchased this product to make a UV-C lamp based sanitizer for Corona virus. To make the lamp work you need a choke unit with socket to connect to the lamp, which I purchased separately. I Just switched on after making the connections shown in pic and it works. You are not supposed to look at the lamp with naked eye or get your skin exposed. I took the pic with all precautions. It needs to be fixed in a closed box to be used to kill virus , etc. I'll give more feedback over time. Pls note the choke shown in pic is purchased by me separately. I have shown it for clarity of the end application only..
