Star: A Novel

so, I skipped those pages.....and there were quite a few! The brutal abuse frim "her manager" was not what I expect to read about in a DS book. I have read many, many of her books and I'm still buying them. The time we live in now is difficult enough and I do a lot of reading but a much lighter story would have pleased me more.

This book was so good. I love Danielle Steel books

The book itself is great. I was missing my copy from my collection, so I ordered this gently used copy. Ha!! It was from a library, and very heavily used. I wanted a nice slightly used book for my collection and definitely didn't get it!!

This is a powerful love story but it takes 15 years to come to the right conclusion. I wanted to get right inside the story and shake some sense into them.

Her 70s books lack something and this is one of those I think. It doesn't mean much since all writers have their low periods. I've read about 30 of her books in the last few years and am usually quite happy with them.

Absolutely the best book. She does not disappoint in any of her books. Loved this one, could not put it down.

Every one loved a story that has a happy ending.Has a happy storyline too. Crystal has everyonein love with her.

I had seen the movie, but the book was nothing like the movie. I love Danielle Steel's writings, but this book, not so much.

What a roller coaster of emotion all the way through. Great characters, great plot with so many unexpected twists and turns, and great momentum all the way through. Don't think about sleeping, I couldn't put this book down! Worth every moment.

Loved this book so very good a story about long ago i the 40s/50s I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to anyone who like Danielle Steel.

Another great read from Danielle Steel. You can't out the book down until you have finished it. Can not wait to get my hands on her next book.
