Purpose of use: The Wero Swiss Polyflex is an ideal bandage of durable elasticity with a short stretch for fixation-, support- and relief dressings as well as compression dressings in first aid and post-treatments. This elastic bandage provides very strong support to an injured structure, compression to minimize swelling and decreases range of motion. It is ideal for fixing wound dressings and for smaller injuries. The elastic bandage is cohesive (self-adherent) and can also be applied to pets, as it does not stick to the animal fur or skin. Application: The Wero Swiss Polyflex can be applied to all kind of body parts, such as shoulder, chest, upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand and fingers, back, hip, thigh, knee, lower leg, ankle or foot. The self-adherent wrap is completely latex-free. Wrap distal to proximal in order to push the swelling to the heart. Overlap bandage about ½ way each turn. Apply bandage with an even pressure and tension. Bandaged body part must be flexed when wrapped to prevent bandage from being too tight. Check circulation (cool extremities, blue fingers indicate that bandage is too tight).
