great for my grandchildren. it keeps them interested and increases their knowledge without making them feel bored.

I have tried a number of 'curriculum' books for my easily-distractable five year old. I've used several of the grade levels by this publisher, and I love them all. This workbook is really comprehensive, with practice in all the key areas of study. Each page is a complete exercise, and the brightly coloured pictures are wonderful for the children. I would definitely recommend this book to any parent.

i have their complete curriculum it gives more practice sheets this dosnt give enough its good for kids who need more exciting work books it has more color but other then that i would get their full version

Since we have twins we did not want to use the same book for each so my son used this book. This was an excellent introduction when he entered first grade. The brain quest was similar but I prefer this book!! The consonant roundup helped him identify the letters easily and great for review. The crossword puzzles were short enough for my post-kindergartener to understand the concept without confusing him. The short stories and how they ask to identify certain aspects of the story were very helpful. I would recommend this book for post kindergarteners!
