I bought these because I have an awful habit of biting my gel polish off and it is quite damaging to my natural nails. We have a fairly organic home (any chance we can to be more green and not have to use aluminium) so although these are plastic, I feel better about using them rather than the annoying aluminium foil and cotton balls. I can never get that to work so I was a little worried about using these however much to my surprise they are very easy! they actually keep the cotton ball in place and they aren't miserable uncomfortable clamps on my fingers.When I first popped them on after they arrived I thought that they felt loose however with a cotton ball in there they are much more snug and still not too tight. LOVE that. They did take forever to come in the mail however it was totally worth the wait. If I have more fingers and toes I would totally purchase more! They are easy to store in a small reusable bag and keep nicely in my nail polish case. I love my "Me Time" and painting my nails so I am happy that I will no longer have to fuss with soaking my polish off forever. Just pop them on. I have noticed that my skin does not get so dry using these VS aluminum foil probably because the polish remover isn't just soaking into my skin if the foil moves or the cotton ball slides around. Would purchase more in the future definitely!

The clips fall off easily if you move fast or grab something.
