Quite poor. Returned it. 5* Reviews are suspect too...
I purchased this because it had so many 5* reviews and so the product sounded fantastic. In hindsight now that I look again, all these super 5* reviews came through in November 2019, so that looks very suspect to me.I was somewhat underwhelmed with this device to be honest. Okay, so it's £28... I guess you get what you pay for. It does have a touch screen, you swipe through the 5 or six screens available. I installed a pay-as-you-go micro SIM card and managed to get that feature up and running... to a degree. So what it's got going for it... It's comfy to wear, it tells the time and the flashlight is a nice feature. It also has a basic math game. That's about where the fun ends. I guess the main reason we bought this is so our son could contact us if out and about, or we could track where he was. Absolutely don't buy this if that's what your main reason is. The tracking feature is fundamentally useless. As I sit here next to the watch and my phone, with a good signal, the app on my phone is telling me the watch is over a mile or two down the road.So yes, you can install an app to your iPhone or Android device (Settracker2) and you can set up to 10 number contacts on your phone app, which then helpfully transfer over and saved to the watch device. However, I wasn't able to make a successful call with mine. The downloaded app is also very ugly. It keeps pestering you with ads that get in the way of its funtionality. To get rid of the ads, it encourages you to pay for a subscription to remove them. Excuse me? I've just paid £28 for this basic tracking device that barely works and you want me to pay £5 a month to remove the ads? The cheek! It says it's waterproof, but this is highly unlikely. There's no seal on the back cover that is easily prised open where the electronics are. The power is charged via a port for a USB cable. Cable is provided, plug for cable is not. It may be able to withstand a few splashes of rain, but there's no way this would survive a trip to the pool, or a bath. Some Chinese stuff can be good, but this is quite poor in my opinion. I'd probably pay £15 for it as a cheap gimmick toy for my kids, but £28 is a bit steep for what it is.Finally, the watch does have a basic photo feature. It's a bit clumsy to use, but (eventually) you can take a snap and send it to a contact number that's been set up for the watch (eg. Mum, Dad, Grandad, etc.). The image quality is extremely poor though (see mine, attached). It can only keep one photo at a time, so if you don't send it - the next time your child takes a photo, the one before it is replaced.

Disappointing
Unfortunately we will be returning this watch. Very disappointing for us and our daughter who we bought it for for her birthday. The watch just wouldn’t play ball. It didn’t charge well, kept flicking. Then when it did come on we couldn’t get the sim to work. It just seemed like too much hassle and we weren’t getting anywhere with the seller as there is no option to contact them so we have requested a refund.

Tracking feature Useless
Good . Appears to be reasonably well made .Interface with APP works well. Being able to monitor watch from Separate Phone Not so good:-. Instructions supplied with product useless, tiny writing does little to help, Would be far simpler to point you in the direction of Youtube. If the tracking feature is important to you , don't bother to buy this product. I could be wrong about this but, it doesn't appear that you are able to 'voice text' to all the numbers in the watches Phone book only the 'Administrator' . The Photo quality is poor and there is no way to save IT other than to forward IT to someone in Phone book as taking an additional Photo deletes the preceeding.

Very poor for its intended purpose
My positive experience with the the watch:Looks nice, comfortable to wear. Does work to call or receive calls. Touch screen is ok and the flashlight is a nice little extra for kids.Downside: There is only 1 game. Camera function same as when phone camera’s first came out, horrible! Main reason for low star rating is the GPS tracker not accurate at all. When I tried to track the watch it showed it was in the middle of the lake about 4-5 miles away. This can give any parent quite the scare. The most annoying part is when using the app, the pop up ads when you want to respond to an sos call, really!!! Child’s in danger and you try to monetise from it with ads? FFS! To remove the ads there is a monthly charge. I’m no cheapskate but I’m not stupid either. Overall the watch is overpriced for what it is. Maybe 10 years ago it would of been ok. At least the call feature works otherwise it would be going back!

Far too complex to set up
I bought this for my daughter for xmas. I returned it shortly after. The set up process was so faffy. I couldnt get the sim to work, the app was showing a location in China! It was just an awful user experience.I wasnt able to set the date and time on the watch. The watch face is also massive. Same size as my fitbit versa. Not suitable for a childs tiny arm. This said, I was given a full refund, so will give credit for that.

Kids smart watch
I did not want to buy a phone for my young son yet. This device is a fantastic alternative. Not only it gives more freedom to a child but it is safer to use too. As a parent I absolutely love the features of tracking and sos button. My child enjoys being more independent and practising calling his family members. The smart watch is well built and easy to set up.

For kids Use smart watch better that phone
I bought it for Christmas present to my girl. If you want your kids to stop phone or iPad , try to use smart watch. I am looking for the smart watch with calling and text message option. It is exactly what I wanted one. About support 2g network Sim card that I have ordered the Lyca mobile pay as you go sim card online (it's free SIM card) , and put it in. It is working fine and ok. Impresive and happy purchase.

Save your money.
We could not get this watch to work at all. Tried giff gaff, o2, EE sims etc. Nothing worked. Registered it & set up the app. Complete waste of time. A very disappointed little girl who said “this is the first time Santa’s toys don’t work”. Although the price seemed good value when something’s useless it’s a complete waste. Unfortunately Santa has not kept the box so we could return.
