Operation of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants (3-Volume Set)

This is a great series of books. A great reference, chocked full of information. I had purchased it to prepare for a state licensing exam. It was very good on operation (seeing that it is a Manual of Practice), but left a bit to be desired on questions in the study guide. It's great for operators, full of references. It gives an operator a lot of material to help troubleshoot problems in the waste water treatment process. If you're studying for a state exam, you're gonna need more than this, though. If you're looking for a manual for actual operations, this is your book series.

this is a very good operations manual. There is so much information available for operators from so many different sources but it's nearly impossible to read all the material. These books compile much of that information into one large resource. A set of these books is needed at each facility...every facility is different and sees a never ending variation in influent characteristics...these texts can provide direction to help operators figure out what to do next.

Very helpful for studying for Wastewater tests.

These Manual Of Process volumes provide an in depth understanding of the wastewater process in its entirety. The volumes prove most useful as a troubleshooting resource. I was able to get a fantastic deal, paying $21.92 on a secondhand set, but the quality of information found in these volumes would make the full price of $240+/- worth the cost.

In many ways, this book helps to keep your plant running smoothly. It's not a book you read, it's a book you study. I have a hard copy in my library and a copy on my Kindle. My Kindle copy is great for doing a key word search and it's a bit lighter than the hard copy.

Ordered the 3 volume set twice and both time only volume 3 arrived. Both times was refunded but had to send back. I see it's a common problem when ordering a text set of volumes
