Excellent quality
The lamp far exceeded my expectations and is excellent. I use rechargeable batteries in the lamp and they work well… I would think that non rechargeable batteries would need replacing quite often, so could work out quite expensive. That apart it’s a great lantern and the “flickering flame” effect is great and surprisingly realistic.

Great lantern for home and camping
Good brightness, attractive design and nice flickering candle simulation. Only let down by the rubber carry handle which is bound to break, mine has snapped already.

Great atmospherics!
I bought 5 of these for glamping. Love them. The flicker mode is brilliant for creating a cosy feel for inside the yurt and feels quite medieval! Really like the timer feature built into one of the modes too. Initially I just thought the timer meant that it would turn off after 4 hours... which it does. However what it also did was automatically turn them back on after 20 hours which meant when I got bk to camp late one evening, they were already on for my return. Loved it. They are also water proof and I constantly had people approaching me in the camp site asking me where I got them

Looks nice, very dim
I like the aesthetic and colour of this but unfortunately it's very dim and doesn't have much impact on lighting inside our tent

Going to be great on the patio table on a warm summers eve. Beautiful how and flickers to if you want. Change the setting for a permanent glow. Fabulous. Love it.

Works fine with a bit of fiddling
This is a nice lantern, once you get it to work. The problem I encountered was to do with the battery compartment.About time with all this tech advance that someone did something about the spring mechanism.It took a bit of fiddling (on my part) to gay the lamp operational. I was about to return it as DEFECTIVE when my fiddling paid off..I was very angry..but now the thing is working it looks like a real flame, dancing about.Im now about to see how long the batteries last.If it goes longer than this evening..great..if it doesn't, yet another rip off
