Sportsman's Best: Redfish Book and DVD Combo

I love this book series. Each book is filled with examples and pictures of methods of catching the targeted species. There is a lot of helpful information and trivia and beautiful photos of the fish and Florida scenery. I am not a freshmen to the sport but this entire series has really expanded my knowledge and increased my success.

The book gives a lot of general information. For one looking for more detailed information the book was lacking. Even the chapter on choosing a boat was rather general and for the novice fisherman. It did not provide any significant information.

For the most part I have to say that I am pretty disappointed with this book.The positive: The author does a good job of discussing how to fish different presentations for redfish.The negative: I wanted to learn more about how to find redfish. I would like to have seen discussions of the following: the life cycle of the redfish and how redfish are affected by seasons, time of day, tides, moon phase, water depth, how to read the water, etc, I expected more!

The book was great - very informative with a lot of awesome pictures. Unfortunately, a few pages were blurry with blurry typing. It must have been a publishing error. All in all, though, an awesome redfish book!
