Durable fabric, super easy to slide on, and evens out some of the uncomfortable contours on the
Update: 3 years + and this Magic Creeper still quite serviceable, used at least a couple of times a month, especially for checking out a vehicle a friend or family member has broken down. Still works any surface, still slides on itself pretty well, and still wipes or rinses clean pretty well. As age has made the rocks more noticeable, it would be nice if this had a bit of padding, but then it would be nice if someone else would fix the cars, too. I see a lot of negative reviews about how this tracks, and claims that a doubled tarp could serve as well. If you'd rather save the money, then that is a prerogative, but the Magic Creeper definitely slides more easily than other materials (aside from a wheeled creeper on a smooth floor.) This fabric type creeper does take a bit of practice to use effectively, and using my hamstrings to pull myself out is always more work than sliding under. When on a smooth and level surface, a creeper is easier to move around on, especially in multiple directions, and is usually a bit easier to get leverage with when applying force (wrenching on things.) But this is dandy for a quick 'look-see' and of course no other creeper works on gravel, sod or any other uneven surface.Note: This device functions in a strict linear direction, but can be used for limited lateral or diagonal movement. If you were to forcefully and/or repeatedly pull the 2 layers apart so that the inner surface is in direct contact with the ground, I assume it would abrade the inner surface, and I would imagine that the smooth friction-free surfaces would be damaged and render the device far less effective. Keeping the Magic Creeper in it's original loop shape is the obvious intended design.Original post 2017:Durable fabric, super easy to slide on, and evens out some of the uncomfortable contours on the ground. Lightweight, easy to carry along for repair projects. Dried quickly when wet from rain or wet ground.Haven't had a lot of vehicle fluids on it, so cannot speak to how well it cleans up from spills; hopefully, I can remain careful enough not to spill oil, fuel or coolant on this, or anywhere for that matter.FYI - it is slightly more work to move on this vs. a wheeled creeper on a smooth garage floor, because body angle with your butt off the ground has a bit more advantage. But unless you're out of shape, the difference is negligible, and it is well worth the slight extra effort for the simple portability and ease of use on any surface, smooth and level or rough and uneven, and any angle, any direction.

Works Great but not Perfect
On a level surface and movement in one direction it is absolutely fantastic. If you are on a hill, it will tend to slide you down the slope. If you are working under car and have to move both in-out and sideways then it will get bunched up and not slide on itself. It takes a bit of practice to get the full potential of the Magic Creeper but I think it's worth the money.I can see this is a tremendous thing to carry in your car in case of a breakdown on the road. The minimal clearance will let you get under many vehicles without needing a jack and it also keeps your clothes clean. It's easy to roll up and store once used.It can be dangerous too because it is slippery. Don't walk or stand on it as the slightest movement may make you fall.I recommend it completely.

Works great
I bought this for my boyfriend who likes to work on his truck. We have a gravel driveway. He likes to check and change the filters on his diesel truck. I bought this for him so he would have an easier time getting under his truck. He used it just the other day and said it made it a lot easier to get under his truck. He could still "feel" the gravel under him but it was much easier to slide under the truck with this creeper.

Better Than Just A Rug Or Mat. Still Far From Perfect.
Overall, the magic creeper works well. However, it does suffer from some flaws. The main of which is its reach, you can only roll so far on it. It still got me halfway under the car without much issue. Moving side to side is also limited overall beats just having a rug or mat and is way better than having nothing. To make this effective and gravel, I would recommend having a mat underneath of it also be very careful around it as stepping on it it is extremely slick. I almost eat dirt twice today.

Perfect gift for my husband!
My husband does all the work on our cars in the family, and it has been difficult since we moved to the country. We no longer have the luxury of concrete. So this made his life much easier in this regard. I highly recommend for the mechanic in anyone's life, or for yourself! It is also very helpful moving heavy object with ease. Great product!

best creeper for low cars
I have a Porsche 911 and all of the creepers with wheels are simply too high (car is on jack stands at their highest setting) and you can't work under the car at all. This lies flat on the ground but folds up on itself so you just slide under and out of the car. It is very handy

Works great
This magic creeper improves upon my floor-work platform made of discarded cardboard. I fine the creeper enables me to wriggle in and out of tight places as I do not own a hoist. It’s padded and provides warmth against a cold floor or worse snow. Good for any terrain as it just slides over bumps or gravel.

Is serving us well!
Gifted to my husband because he’s always working on his delivery truck. It’s low to the ground and we are on gravel, so he can’t use a traditional creeper. This is a wonderful alternative product. I gave it 4/5 because while it is a perfect alternative to a traditional creeper, it’s advertised as moving freely in a continuous loop. That simply is not the case. It does move, but you aren’t moving straight back, and you definitely aren’t getting far without repositioning the creeper. For a small vehicle it would be fine, but since our main goal was using it under a large delivery truck, it has its limitations. Otherwise, it is a sound product that seems to be strongly made. We’ve had it for a little over a month so far and no rips or tears. Which is good! Because like I said gravel. I will update if it does ever rip or tear. But for now, we are happy with this purchase!
