Japanese Handmade Paper Decorative Craft Rainbow Colors - 16 Pieces

I have recently gotten interested in painting with paper similar to a Japanese art form called Chigire-e. I started looking for more paper of different colors and thicknesses.This is lovely paper. It's very thin and and some sheets are very sheer. This means you can layer it and overlap it creating a range of hues and colors. It also is very sturdy. You can easily tear it but it leaves those lovely fibers that make what I do look so interesting.Some of these have a design of flowers worked into the paper. Just as you see in the photo. Some of the papers have gold threads worked into them. I didn't want the gold threads for my latest project and I found i could easily pull them out of the paper without damaging my paper.These papers are all uniform in color. They do not have pulp in them and they do have variations of hues within the paper.

I love this paper I make greeting cards and I can use this for collages to add three dimensional flowers or pen and ink drawings there are so many uses and I'm excited to be able to explore my options. The quality is also very good and it has a lot of interesting textures that vary from color to color.

I love this paper! The sheer Ness, design and really adds alot to my project. The only thing was it was smaller than I thought but accurate to the measurements given, although I forgot to look. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

Love this Oragami paper it's so beautiful. The colors are fabulous and some have a transparent look with little bits of paper pulp. It's hard to describe. Anyway, I bought two sets because I was afraid I'de run out. I've been using them in my art journal. I intend on buying them again, assuming they don't end up being out of stock. They are very colorful and thin so if you're not into that this may not be for you. I love color so it works for me and I don't want to bulk up my journal too much.

This pack is a very nice selection of handmade papers, a little less than 5.75 inches square. Two are white with a design embossed into the paper. They are thicker than the others and could be inked or used as a panel with light showing through. The others are in 14 different colors, four of which have gold strands in the papers. Really pretty.This is a good value pack for experimenting with handmade papers. 4 stars instead of 5 because this is not Japanese. A minor point, but I am a strong believer in truth in advertising.

I love this paper. Love how you ripped it apart and the threads just leave this natural looking finished product. New to Art Journaling and it a great paper for collages. I got the results that i wanted. Works well with a matte sealer.Totally recommend it.

It is superb, lovely colors and textures. My only comment that is slightly negative is that they were secured with paper clips that left impressions on the paper. I recommend using the removable glue dots that remove cleanly, and no more paper clips. I will most certainly reorder this paper from this vendor. It will add elegance and beauty to my handmade cards!

beautiful paper - lightweight and delicate - not sutible for origami as it doesn’t hold a crease - it can be folded and crunched and you’ll see the marks but tends to lay flat - 2 of the 16 sheets have a few gold threads - i like it but can’t fold a thing

veryt nice paper, with different textures, can't wait to use it for my art journal.

Here's the thing about this package of suki paper....lovely on the outside and displayed all pretty in a spirely look....the paper actually is 1 sheet of mulberry cut in 4 ...in each color. Its OK and I will use all the paper but I would not buy it again!
