Q: Is it possible to hang this light on a wall?

I don't think its possible to wall mount. They are designed to be placed on flat surfaces really.

Q: Mine doesn’t work with Alexa. Does anyone else have this problem?

I too keep having this problem. Product help says to delete the light in the Alexa app and add it again. I’ve done this a couple of times and then gave up because it was such a pain. I now use the Philips hue Bluetooth app on my phone to program the wake & sleep functions and also to switch it on and change the colour. There goes my routine of leaving my phone downstairs when I sleep!

I can’t be 100% sure with this light but as a rule Zigbee devices do act as repeaters so long as they are of the powered type and not battery. As this has both a battery and can be left powered it has a bit of both. I have 3 of these lights around my home as well as other Hue lights and so far I haven’t had any connection problems even with bulbs that are well away from the hub. Hope that helps.
