I love alpha hydroxy acids... As I age, I am always looking for the next latest greatest thing to help my skin not look... aged.Alpha hydroxy acid isn't as harsh or abrasive as other acids, such as the TCA, this one doesn't do such a deep burn that you can't go outside for a week.This one is really great for removing dry skin, it's also perfect to help treat extremely dry skin, if you have scaly skin, this is a really nice and gentle acid to use for that. If you have any type of hyperpigmentation, acne scars, or even any of the mask of pregnancy marks, using something like this regularly will help all of those too slowly go away.Alpha hydroxy acids work by taking off the top layer of the dead skin cells, and in turn it will also increase the thickness of the deeper layers of your skin, promoting a better firmness. But, because it's not a really deep or thick peel, you are able to use it more frequently. Which I absolutely love, and even though I do love the deeper peels, I have an appreciation for something that I can use on a regular basis without having to worry about not being in the sunlight, or causing more hyperpigmentation because I had to drive somewhere.This is a really big bottle, so you're able to get a whole lot of usage out of it, and the fact that it comes with its own bowl and brush is an added bonus. This is safe enough to use on any part of your body, but I would still be very very very cautious when you are going around your mouse, just because your lips are a lot more sensitive than you think they are, and be cautious when you are putting it under your eye. You definitely do not want to get this in your eye, or close to your eye lines.I would recommend this for people who aren't even estheticians, just because it is such a gentle peel, and because it's not harsh or abrasive. Doing a test patch is also something that I would recommend, I usually do my test patches on my neck kind of under my ear, just to see how it's going to work, but you can do it on your hand or your arm. Just to see what the outcome is going to be. This is really nice even for sensitive skin, because again, it's not overly harsh. It's a very mild chemical peel. This is very gentle and works well for sensitive skin. Whenever I get peels at a medi-spa my skin is always red. I tried leaving on for 10 minutes with no problem. I will increase next time. I also used on my legs and arms for the full-time with no problems. I found the bowl and brush helpful. This is worth the money.

I was very excited when this product arrived that I used it immediately. I letis stay on my skin for almost 40 minutes. I had some tingling sensition, so I thought it's probably working. I waited for a few days and applied it again. And another few days. Did I have any peeling? Not at all!

Meh! It didn't do anything on my face. Didn't sting, didn't peel, did literally nothing. Maybe I should use it again but not hopeful

So far I have used this on my face, neck, butt, thighs, and arms all with good results. I apply it with the brush. Excellent consistency that doesn't drip all over the place. At first there is no sensation which can be deceiving. Then about 2-5 minutes of mild stinging or hot feeling (very mild). Once that is over I have left on 5-30 more minutes depending on how my skin was looking. The directions say leave on 5-10 min. I have safely left on my arms 45 min and it was amazing. I am olive skinned and acne prone all over including kerarosis pilaris issues. I think I will use this 4x a week. The bottle is big so I can get quite few treatments.

There has been no peeling and the liquid in the bottle arrived looking more like sugar mix. Gritty and as excited as I was for it I am very let down that it has not worked

Chemical peels are not recommended for the body. Doctors on realself website have said that the facial skin heals better from the low grade damage that a peel does. The body skin simply gets damaged. I would use this product on the face and neck only.

This seems to be a mild hydrating peel. Seems to work fast on a micro level. This is my favorite and works well for sensitive skin.
