Fortunately, I have not had occasion to use these little alarms. All I can really say about them is that I find them to be loud, the light function works, I like that you have the option to either press the button (twice) for the alarm or pull out the keychain stem, and the price for three of them seems very affordable to me. Worth the purchase to just stash in a pocket or keep by your bedside. I also like that they are rechargeable and I don’t have to guess whether the batteries are due for replacement. Just occasionally recharge them.

The alarm sound is not very loud. The pull to start the alarm is stiff and doesn’t pull out easily.it

I work nights and have a long walk to my car in the dark, which is why I purchased this item. It's definitely noisy enough to get attention, but when I hang it from my keychain (which it's designed for) it easily pulls out and starts alarming. This happened multiple times while it was just sitting undisturbed in my coat pocket. I wish it was slightly harder to pull to remedy this. Regardless, it does make me feel safer to have it, despite the occasional pin release.

My husband has Parkinsons. His voice is too soft for me to hear if not beside him. He stays up later than I do. I needed a way for him to let me know if he needed me or if he fell when I was asleep. I looked into many systems but none seemed right at the time. This little alarm is freaking loud, I hear it anywhere in the house. The button is easy to push even on a bad day for him. We have 2, one in hs pocket and one in the bathroom. I think it would be great for a person alone at night to scare off anyone or animal. The flashing light is a bonus. At the low price of $10 ish it's a bargain and well worth the price.
