Not sure. They didn't keep my hands warm at all.

Q: Are these gloves waterproof

I have worn these gloves in all weather's whilst photographing and must say I never noticed but were extremely comfortable. As for water proof I have never placed in water to find out. But good value.

Q: what are the washing instructions for these gloves please

Not sure of any actual instructions. I have washed them countless times in my washing machine at 30 degrees, and then let them dry on the line and they tend to dry very quickly. They haven't shrunk. They are still in their original shape and condition and I love them. I definitely WOULD NOT put them in a tumble drier! I think they might shrink if you did that.
