I went to a tailor to have my measurements taken. When I sent my measurements to the seller, they replied asking if i was sure that my hip measurement was correct. I re-measured at home and found that it was. Dress came too small in the hips and too short, which is weird since it's free flowing in the hips and I'm also 5'3.

Cute dressWore it for the dancing portion of my wedding. Only flaw was the lace bottom came off during the evening.

Absolutely love this dress. It fits perfect and I had a lot of communication with them to make sure we were all on the same page with my measurements. I still plan to lose some weight before my big day next year (winter pushed me from a size 10 to a 12, too much holiday eating). With the way this dress is cut to take into account my hip and shoulder lengths, it won't affect the fit either way. The material is better than I expected, especially for the price. It's thick and heavy, nothing shows through and is perfect for a second wedding during May when the weather can still be chilly. Will use this for my formal christmas party as well to get my money's worth next year. The built in bra is a bonus, but can see its outline faintly, nothing a good cleaning won't retify. Extremely pleased as I was expecting a possible disaster without the benefit of trying it on, that's why I ordered a year in advance just in case. I am a size 10 /12 because of my hips and shoulders, but have a smaller waist and ordered the 16 because their measurement guide was so different. That's when we started communicating for more exact measurements.

I love the dress. It was slightly tight top half, had it altered a little. But overall, it was more than I had expected. It was beautifully made.
