Does it's job well as a defoliant does not effect the soil

Stuff works quickly and effectively, so yes as described and so recommended.Only complaint would be the spray bottle which leaks quite a bit when used. WEAR Gloves warning if you buy, as the stuff isn't easy to wash off your fingers completely and will take several washes to remove any lingering residue (which you can smell).

Was recommended by my neighbour, it was brilliant.

I've used this for a while, but although it gives rapid results (usually), the container it comes in is very poor (I'll come to that in a moment). Most of the weeds I have used this for are small and are usually completely dead within a few hours at most. However, I did spray it on an evergreen plant that I wanted to get rid of and part of which had gone through the fence into the neighbour's garden. I gave all the leaves a good soaking but nothing seemed to happen for several weeks. However, I see now that all the leaves have turned brown and there is, so far at least, no sign of any fresh growth. The bottle this product comes in really lets it down though. I've had the vacuum effect that others have described, but my latest purchase, which was supplied in green bottles and not the white bottle shown on the Amazon product page has let me down further. After using about 10% of the product at most, it refused to spray any more, so I have removed the top off the bottle (it was VERY tight, so I had to use a pair of nutcrackers to get it off) and transferred it to an empty Tesco-brand spray bottle, which does work very well. I've uploaded a photo so you can see the end result. OK, it wouldn't make many sales in that condition, but it will be much easier to apply from this point forward. Job done!

It does in fact work very quickly. .probably not in an hour, but within a day most of the weeds had turned brown, much to my surprize as this doesn't happen often with any brand. But I really don't care how long it takes just as long as you can get the nozzle to work in the first place!! I have often been stuck with products that I can't open. At last I have found one that is so much easier to break the seal and get it open.

Does what it says. Spray it on the weeds wait and they are dead.
