it gave my hair a deep red color . I only leave it on for about 3 hours . Has a little grit . Over all I like it for the color , only time will tell about the conditioning herbs . I only had it for 1 month and use it once a week . It rinses out easily so I mad a glaze with a 50/50 mix of five herbal blends and my favorite conditioner , so I can alternate weekly between die sessions and quick conditioning every other week .

Item arrived fairly quickly. Mixed 1 cup of henna, with 2 TBS ACV and 1 cup coffee. I mixed in air tight plastic bowl, let set overnight and applied mixture in the morning to my hair. Left on head for 3.5 hours. I covered head in syran wrap, and cotton strand around my head to catch drips. My results were not what I want it to be. My gray roots were tinged with yellow color. I am about 70% gray. The next day my roots appeared to be a little darker. I am writing this review after 24 hours. My roots may get a little darker after oxidizing another day. Henna works different for every person, I have read that hair may need to get adjusted to Henna. My next application may work much better. I don't understand how that applies to new growth of gray hair.

I loved this henna so far. I used it to make tattoo paste with lemon juice and sugar and lavender. Most say to let set for 24 hours after mixing but I've been anxious to do more tattoos so I put some in a bottle after 20 hours. I applied some to my hand and not more than a half hour later, it started to dry and crack off. The deep color underneath is super rich. I was shocked in such a short time it looked that good. I can't wait to try it on for longer! I'm even looking up how to dye my hair with it. The henna paste turned out smooth. Only minor fine grits, due to sugar. Just have to stir lots. Will be buying again!

This will be my second purchase of henna powder on Amazon, and my fourth time coloring my hair with henna. This mix is so much finer than the other henna I ordered! It washed out of my hair MUCH easier. I love the consistency. That being said, this was the first time I ever mixed henna with cassia to try to get a lighter, more coppery red on my medium blonde roots, and it didn't seem to show up as much as the old henna I had. I don't know if it was because of the cassia or not. I will leave it on for three hours instead of two next time. It did cover my roots well enough though.

GORGEOUS! This is beautiful for hair. My hair is naturally a brown color, so with application it made it a beautiful deep auburn. Everyone thought it was my natural hair color. It looks beautiful in the light. If you really want to enhance the color put lemon juice in the mixture and let it sit over night. Make sure it's not too watery or too dry, and that it's like a mud.

Package came quickly, is a large amount for price, and consistency is lovely when mixed! I believe I made a batch of 6 TBS of powder with 10 TBS boiled water. I played with the consistency for awhile so I might be off a little. I let it sit for a day. When I applied it, the consistency was very smooth and had great coverage! Smell wasn't too strong. Color is great, warm auburn red!

NOT a light red Henna, very dark, and doesn't seem to last as long as other brands.

I bought after reading the reviews here but its not what its written, the result is not even average. I had been using henna for more than 2 yrs. I had this amazing deep red colour as my beautician used very nice henna in India. I ordered this after reading the amla and shikakai added in it already. But the result is BAD. I applied it for 2.5hrs and it has given no colour at all. Just a little tinge of yellow on my grey hair. It a WASTE. I just have to throw it.- Wife
