Couldn’t ask for a better build quality
Extremely well built, it’s the only reader that I know will handle my data with care. Even the included cable is surprisingly rugged, great packaging too!

Arrived really fast!
It arrives so fast after ordering it the night before. We were in the middle of the filming, with our cfasts all full, but we didn't have the reader to back them up. It worked perfectly!

Pretty Straightforward, BUT...
Includes two cables, one is USB-C and one is a regular USB ("USB-A"). Both cables are only a foot long though, which I find a little annoying. Here's the thing - they don't need to be longer, they just need to be EITHER longer or shorter.A one foot cable is a very annoying cable. It'll dangle off the edge of a small table/desk (or if you're using it on top of your lap), putting just a little constant stress on your port and putting it at risk of just getting knocked right out. If the cable was longer, you could wrap the whole thing back around the computer and prevent the dangle. If it was shorter (a stick maybe, instead of a cable), it would support its own weight with a more rigid interior. The short cable is silly.Aside from that, it's fine. Plug and play, works with all my devices, no transfer issues, etc.

Wish they made one for the phone
I haven’t been able to find a CFast card reader for the iPhone, only laptop. It’s good and imports fast but inconvenient when you’re on the go. Rather have one to import to the phone instead. If you need to import from your phone, get a compact flash card and not a CFast card. And then get you a reader for compact flash. This reader here is for CFast to laptop only. They make readers for the phones for compact flash but not CFast (at least I haven’t found any)

The Unitek Card Reader works!
I needed a CFast card reader to download photos and videos from my Canon cameras onto my computer. Originally, I ordered a different brand on Amazon (Rocketek). It did not work. I requested customer support, and they sent me a replacement. That one didn’t work either and the only customer support I could get after the replacement, was an email address to the company in China. I had spent enough time trying to get the replacement to work so I ordered the Unitek. Right out of the box, I simply plugged it in and inserted a CFast card, and it worked. It took 3 tries to get a product that actually worked. I’m disappointed in the time I wasted with the other brand, but I am glad I finally found the Unitek CFast Card reader. It’s good quality for the price.

Compared to Angelbird
Just did a bench test offloading a 512GB CFAST 2.0 card simultaneously to two Samsung T5 SSD drives on MacBook Pro. All using T3 or USBC cables, no adapters. I used Shotput Pro to replicate and verify the data. The result was similar to the Angelbird CFAST reader, clocking in around 34 minutes. Solid performance and well constructed. The cable that came with it was junk and did not work. I will definitely keep one or two of these readers in my kit. Great price for the performance.
