Very good. Nicely laid out and informative. Definitely one for the collection if you dabble in the Tarot. I use it constantly.

I was glad to get this book for my TOTOP cards, it gives the backgrounds of the creators of the deck and a little bit of information about the flower language, before I got the book I was able to research the symbols of the flowers and herbs and I found that I enjoyed learning about this! I'm currently studying wicca as a solitary witch, when I found the cards back in 2004 I was attracted to them because they are beautiful! The original Rider Waite just did nothing for me but these cards felt right, I was'nt into witchcraft back then even though I was spiritual so I think the cards and book would appeal to those who aren't wiccans as well. I was pleased to find this book secondhand very cheaply! I hope you can find this book at the same price I did! I don't understand why these sellers want crazy money for a paperback book! It's good but I wouldn't pay expensive prices for it!!!

This deck is a treasure hiding in the shadows of old book stores & a few new ones.The art work is what makes this deck stand out from the host of others. This tarot is forperhaps deeper souls to contemplate & savor each card, especially the major arcana. Buy this deck if you too like to look at one card and let its mysteries unfold.

This is a great companion to the deck, well-written and actually necessary if you have this Tarot deck because it explains many of the plant correspondences and other meanings to the symbolism in the cards. Also a great guide to understanding Tarot if you're a beginner, so this book and it's deck are great for those starting out.

I ordered this book simply to replace the original book that has come unbound from years of use. I've been reading cards for close to 25 years now. My first deck was given to by my mother when I was an adolescent. I've come across many decks over the years, and have yet to find one that compares to the "Old Path". I mostly work with oracle cards now, however I use the tarot for precise information. The Old Path refers to pre-Christian era, when the Goddess was the divine deity. The cards are beyond beautiful and definitely feminine without being feminist. They have a beautiful balance between male and female. The cards relay precise information without being too harsh. These are my tarot for life. BLESSED BE!

The Tarot of the Old Path: Instruction Book is more than a standard tarot instruction book. There is a background on Tarot as well as background information relating to the various contributors to this Tarot Deck. I've also discovered simple Tarot exercises and spreads within this book. A great addition to my collection.

I love the deck which I bought separately, but this book was a severe disappointment. Basically a large print version of the in packet pamphlet. The sales pitch about the flowers and there relationship to card meaning ended up being a sham a single sentence in less than half of the card descriptions is not worth the purchase price. It drones on and on about the elemental relationships of the cards, but provides only elementary data that can be found in almost any tarot book or resource and is not at all specific to this deck.
