I would probably size up in these. The XL fit but a size up may look better. I haven't tried a size larger but will next pair.

Novelty and maybe go up a size than what you typically wear.
I liked their style. They fit a bit too small in the hip area and covered more that the example images. I use it more for novelty than a typical pair of undies.
