highly recommended
I have a small dog (32 lbs) but she is a tough chewer. It is fit for her - the description says 20-40 lbs so I knew that already and it is good to get her to brush her teeth. I tried a more liquid toothpaste first and that was too runny so you do need one that is more of a paste. Since she is smaller, she can more easily get her tongue in without chewing, but anything to help clean her teeth is great!

Isn't working
The dogs just lick it. If I put dog toothpaste in there, they ignore it. If I put something they like, they lick it.I'm trying to get them interested in chewing it, but even my dog that likes to chew things to bits has no interest so far.

Not worth the money!
Bought two. One dog loved, second no. First dog immediately chewed off feet, then destroyed the rest of chew.

too difficult to fill
I tried doggy toothpaste and peanut butter. It was just too difficult to get any substance into the hole provided.I have three dogs and none of them were at all attracted to it.

Waste of money
I bought two of these for my two Golden Retrievers. They love toys and they love to chew. It sounded like a great concept. Unfortunately, one dog had no interest in it. The other one promptly shredded hers to pieces in about 10 minutes.
