poor outer layer
This line was purchased to use on a hydraulic jib boom on a bucket truck. Loads did not exceed weight capacity/tensile strength of line. Outer layer of line making incidental contact while under load frayed, causing constant shortening line and refitting attachment pieces. Price was pretty high initially and life span will be considerably shortened as lines become too short to use, thus have to be replaced. I would hesitate to consider this for rock climbing as if under load will scrubbing on rock cause same fraying?

It handles great right out of the box. I highly recommend it as a static rappelling rope.
Excellent rope! Bought for Scout Troop for rappelling & prussik climbing.I've bought a good many ropes over the past 35 years and very happy with this one.I bought the 11mm for durability and size. It works good single or double.

Awesome rope
Used for a drift boat anchor system. Super strong, stiff, but not overly so, easy to work with, and bitchen looking.
