Really nice bike. It’s sturdy and of excellent quality. I will say this is a road bike and it’s heavy. You won’t be lifting over any five bar gates unless you work out daily.

I've wanted a bike for years and thought of buying a second hand one. I'm glad I didn't. This is great - just heavy enough and very attractive too - love the colour. I've added a wicker basket to the handlebars and it gets a lot of comments. Not too difficult to assemble either.

Bike arrived and there was a small tear in the box where the handlebars were located, other than that packaging looked fine. When I moved the box it seemed as if there were loose items inside. Upon opening it's clear the contents had worked loose in transit. Started to put the bike together following the less than clear instructions and came across a few issues. The paint work around the pinion was chipped on one bar and the paint cracked on the other down to the bare metal, not sure if this whole frame is distorted or damaged? We are missing a locking nut for the seat and the front mudguard has been crushed so it touches the wheel. Not great as this was a birthday present for my daughter. I stopped putting the bike together at this point. It looks like a nice bike and we may have just received a damaged unit, Waiting to hear back from the supplier and will update on service we receive. UPDATE: Supplier is very apologetic and has offered a replacement bike, just need to dismantle the original one now and get it back into a torn box somehow. Will update again when replacement arrives, hopefully replacement will be OK. SECOND UPDATE: Second bike arrived but there was still damage to two parts. Supplier replaced without issue again. Bike needs to be better packaged to avoid these issues but full marks to Rob from E-Bikes Direct for sorting so quickly. THIRD UPDATE: Replacement parts arrived and installed, however, inflated tyres ready to hand over to my daughter (eventually) to find the back tyre has an air leak. Removed rear wheel, found tear in inner tube, repaired and wheel replaced. This should not happen on a 'new' bike straight from the factory! Where is the quality control?? Disappointing again but bike is finally sorted. SUMMARY: Great bike but with lots of issues, quality is good but our bike should never have left the factory in the state it was in. The bike came mostly until damaged. Front mudguard had a little dent but I have managed to clean it up. This bike was bought for my wife to cycle along the seaside front and she loves it.. nick naming it minty lol. Gears all work as they should with little to no adjustments needed. She hasn't ridden a bike in a long time but feels very comfortable on this bike. Over all very good.
